Where are all the Tracey lovers? C'mon guys, this is ALWAYS the number one post on the boards. I can't believe it wasn't the first non-administration post.

Let's get the all-mighty Tracey love going here. This place just doesn't feel right without this post being here. I may not have posted much in the previous threads, but all be damned if I didn't read every post and response religiously.

I don't think it had a damn thing to do with the character at all. Any writer worth his/her salt could come up with a way to take any character on a soap and give them an interesting story. Even Epiphany could have an interesting story if they were at all vested.

From what I hear it had everything to do with the actress/fanbase crazy lunatic actions and upcoming storyline and past roadblocks and erasing history and very little to do with the character.

If that's the case then it has to be named and called what it is. GH isn't doing itself any favours by keeping it's peace when actors/fanbases are out of line.

This will all blow over, just like the DC/Michael stuff did post-Emmys last year. But the fanbases have to be told when they've gone too far and so far it seems they can be as hateful as possible and aren't called on their BS. And actors have to be called out on their Diva/Divo behaviour. We don't have the old Studio system where actors with recognized talents could act ridiculously but they were indulged because of their talent. No one has time these days for an actor who's too big for their britches.

I really like the ones of Tracy and BL. It's not Tracy's usual snarky face, but rather that of a grandmother who's interested in what her granddaughter has to say and trying to help out. I hope the scene follows through like that. The interaction the two had in December was so much better than the tired old confrontations from the summer.

I'm truly getting tired of Edward giving Tracy the gears. He needs to shove that finger somewhere else.

Epiphany (Sonya Eddy), shouldn't have to worry. She's the only black contract actor on GH, which means unless they promote someone else, she's safe.

The jacket she's wearing in the scenes with Luke is hideous. I knew we would be going back to ugly clothes, again. Ugh... why doesn't wardrobe come up with better stuff for her? I like what she is wearing with Brook, though.

I have to say, Jane looks GREAT in the pics. Her outfit is nice in the Tracy/Brook scenes. And i LOVE Brook's boots.

I love Brook/Tracy. I love when they fight. But I also love when they're tender towards each other.

I loved the wedding scenes, but I still love this snarky scene too.

Looking forward to the upcoming Tracy scenes. I like that with the one of her and Edward, she is actually doing something people do in real-life - eating and reading a magazine. That hardly ever happens on GH, it seems... And she and Luke look so happy in 2 of those pics.

And Linnie, I don't like the jacket either.

Ms.Q would know better, but isn't that the cut of the teal jacket JE loves? I remember reading an article about how she liked it so much the wardrobe made it in other fabrics. Can't say I share the opinion on the cut, but the teal one was at least a decent colour on her. They can have black but they really need to keep away from grey with her. The red/fushia/melon/pink stuff works the best with her skin colour, IMO. Followed by the blues. Grey just washes her out regardless of the cut.

Hey--it is nice to at least see pics again even tho it isn't til Feb 4th.

I had a big freelance project fall into my lap that I have a meeting about tomorrow. I'm hoping it all works out. Would be nice to make some $ for a change.

I don't like the jacket for two reasons: 1) it is a print, and 2) it is too long and baggy. I thinks she looks best in solids and in clothes that are form- fitting. I realize hideous is a strong word. But I must say that I sighed when I first saw it. I just wish wardrobe would consistently dress her well. Just my opinion.

Remos, I agree with you about the colors that look best on JE.

It's so odd. Most of Port Charles is wearing these summery dresses ALL year as if it isnt 3 degrees in new york in the winter. However, poor Tracy is ALWAYS wearing suits.

I ould love to see her ina dress. An elegant one, of course. Or even a sweater!
