Not necessarily a favorite (but might be), but the first thing that came to mind was Sami on DAYS being slapped several times in the 90s.

The first thing that came to mind was one of the earliest examples of slapping (or in this case, spanking) which I saw on daytime TV: when a usually stoic and patient Russ Matthews finally lost his cool over his wife Rachel's atrocious behavior, and took her over his knee and spanked her.

The scene would never be allowed to air today, but it was sooooo satisfying.

My favourite is when Brooke finally slapped Stephanie back on B&B. It was during the height of the BeLief-story, emotions were running high and they finally boiled over and everything exploded.

I make soap soap compilations, and seeing this slap Viki gave Tina (RIP Andrea Evans) made me curious about some of the OLTL slaps from the 80s and 90s.

That is such an excellent scene. The story has been told so many times that the accurate one is a mystery, but either KKL didn't tell Flannery she was going to slap her, or it wasn't in the script, or the two planned it out so that they'd actually hit each other...but it was an electric acting choice.

Two of my favourite slaps involve Donna Love on Another World. In both, Donna does the first slap and then is shocked and appalled when Jake and Vicky slap her back, at 3:00 and 6:10 respectively:

Lesley and Monica’s iconic confrontation and slap is my favorite old school confrontation on GH. The closeups! Starts around the 6 minute mark.

Iconic!  It is the total fantasy of freedom to have no shame and no remorse.  Monica's husband, family, and co-workers are all steps away, and she yells about laying in bed and laughing about how boring Leslie is when making love to her husband.  Talk about hitting below the belt.  This isn't just a proclamation of love, it is an indictment of Leslie's inabilities as a woman.

Anytime Vanessa let loose on Billy on GL was a great time!

I'm pretty sure she gave Wendy Moinz's Dinah a few good slaps too.

Didn't she slap the taste out of Dinah in a hotel suite when Dinah mentioned that she could take Matt from her and Vanessa left in disgust?

This was around the time that Dinah was starting to unravel about losing Hart.

I used to watch that clip daily on YouTube. I wish someone would upload that again.
