LMAO  It was a great ending to an absolutely RIDICULOUS half hour.

-- Steffy congratulating Hope on her magnificent "vision." I mean, we saw 3 dresses, including Hope's Elsa ripoff.

-- Thomas and Hope decide to GO FOR A WALK??? LOL So glad the Colosseum was nearby.

-- Speaking of walking, Liam decides to WALK AROUND ROME looking for Hope, all so he can keep his appearance a surprise. I mean, really?

-- And are we going to be told that Hope was caught up in the romantic moment? Girl looked like she wanted to swallow Thomas whole and ride him right there.

What is find so oddly entertaining is how fictional characters are able to find their loved ones so randomly in all these remote location places. When Finn found Steffy, the population of Monte Carlo is 36,306. In Rome, the human population is estimated at 4,315,671.

I'm not bitching about it, but it is kind of funny to me.

I missed it - I was going to ask if Liam had found Hope and Thomas kissing yet, because a kiss = an annulment. And we've seen this story 10,000 times so that's what was going to happen.  Along with no one knowing how to text or the phones are conveniently lost or broken.  There are no divorces because it's B&B even if it's been 10 years and 8 children later.  So has the annulment happened yet?  Why is it taking so long?

And have Liam and Steffy slept together yet?  She should be pregnant by now by Liam, this show is moving too slow.

Has Bill run into Ridge and Brooke yet and professed his love and the fight for Brooke's heart is back on again?

Ahhhh! Nothing like a good ol' rebound kiss on soaps. Actually, this is a DAYS signature specialty. Yep, go to a bar and get smashed. What I find so weird about the Liam/Steffy kiss is that Steffy's relationship with Finn was "pitch perfect". I mean, they weren't squabbling over uncleaned microwaves, the toilet seat being lifted up, or the lack of not being able to see each other due to their jobs, etc.

Umm, I wish I had more to say. All I've seen are remote locations and tacky dresses. Actually, I did like Brooke's dress as it blended very well with KKL's skin tone. However, in a strange way, it kind of reminded me of swimming floaters. You know ... the floaters kids wear to prevent themselves from drowning in a swimming pool. Other than that, I did like that color on KKL.

    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
    • Don't know if this exactly fits here, but it is connected: Does this abandoned building look familiar? It is one of those explorer videos - and the outside may look VERY familiar if one watched GH in the '70s and '80s!

    • So, I have been in the hospital all week. I am close to being up to date on my soaps. Now I have to go to the Infusion Ctr daily to get IV antibiotics, for 6 weeks. I am frankly exhausted. A hospital is no place to be when you're sick. Hooked up to machines that go beep beep beep all day & night long. Someone wakes you up every hour on the hour for something, either to stick you with needles or to take your gosh-awful blood pressure for the umpteenth time. So, you don't get any sleep. Now I have a central line, upper right chest. After they "installed" it, I said, I am now Borg. They just stared at me. Apparently scifi is not general knowledge. What happened? I have an infection inside my big toe right foot & it burned the skin on my foot. The burned skin is already better. It was like a bad sunburn. The infection inside the toe is the issue. Oral antibiotics won't even get its attention. So, IV antibiotics plus time.

As Salem bids farewell to John Black on Monday, the "Days" family and fans say a final goodbye to Drake Hogestyn.   From his time as a young man playing baseball in the minor leagues for the New York Yankees to his almost four-decade run as John Black, Drake always did his best. And, while becoming a soap opera icon, he spent almost 40 years at "Days" telling the best stories and taking the younger cast under his wing to make sure they would do their best as well. Thank you, Drake, for the legacy you have left for everyone at "Days." The impact you made on the cast, crew and fans will never be forgotten...and that's a fact.
    • I found an interview with Joseph Breen (Will Jeffries) where he mentions that Reva was put in a coma so Zimmer could go to Hollywood to do a pilot (OMG, if ONLY it had been picked up, LOL) and that Sonni and Josh and Will became a popular with the audience while she was out of commission.  If you want to read the whole thing: https://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewarticle.asp?id=47394 Breen was known for being very candid in interviews, I wish I could find more of them. I seem to recall he made a couple of snarky comments about Zimmer, implying she was not above acting like a diva. Sounded to me like he had a lot of respect for Forbes (who went on to have a very strong and varied career after GL).
    • I was so confused why Devon was prying into Nicks love life and then it clicked and I remembered they’re brother-in-laws. Shows how little I pay attention to this show anymore. I was like uh? Do these two even know each other this well?
