Valentin remains the corniest dude alive. Say what you will about Guza, but he would've had Valentin up against the wall and plugged full of lead within 48 hours.

It’s hard to take him even remotely seriously.  I think if Laura slapped him now he would fall to the floor.

It amazes me that they have a fanbase, however small but vocal. I think some of Finola's fans (and well, FInola too who clearly loves working with Stuart) are just happy she has a pairing, any pairing. I know it was controversial and not the actors' favorite but I'd have put her back with Scorpio long ago. But Frank is obsessed with JPS.

She and Laura both are suffering in poor pairings, but the actors are happy so it’s not going to change.  Maybe we will luck out and JPS will be too busy to continue.  Maybe we could get a decent recast.

Also- I am happy that Anna is not with Finn.  So be careful what you wish for I guess.

I understand why Kevin and Laura have a decent amount of fans even if I find them pretty boring. He is committed to her and they're both good people. I would still give her a new, more exciting man and put him back with Lucy, but I get that contented happiness for her fans and for Genie and I would play that drama out. Anna and Valentin? That's just there to give JPS a foundation, like the Rebecca Herbst Love Interest Retirement Plan.

Has anyone been a fan of Maxie's stylistic choices over the last decade and a half.  Outside of her awful wardrobe, she has made some horrible hair choices over the years.  See circa 2010

Agreed.  I actually don't mind this new hair color.  At least it looks like a color that occurs in nature while some of her previous hair did not.  I think it makes her look a little more matronly, but I don't ever remember KS being a brunette so I guess it's something different at least?

Alexis looks the same in today's episode in 2023 as she did in the 1990s, and yet her face looks so natural.  What kind of voodoo is Nancy Lee Grahn practicing?

I think she looks like she's in a constant state of surprise. But I'm mean.

Watching Jordan and Curtis attempt to act in scenes together is actually painful. I'm always rooting for my people but they make it hard when they're this bad.

A lot of the acting in general is very stiff, it must be a byproduct of how quickly they shoot. You have a group of actors trying to remember their lines and blocking without rehearsal (as far as I know all they do is blocking and then it's straight to shooting).

If she is doing anything, she learned her lesson and it’s subtle.  At one point she did something that was so distracting she admitted to it and said she promised she wouldn’t do that again.  Maybe about a decade ago?  Frank was there, because she said she promised him she wouldn’t do it again.

Truthfully, at her core the one trait I think of when I think of Alexis is exasperation.  So your description works, mean or not.

Remember when Alexis had actual sparring partners?  I miss that.
