Did Josh’s grandson put this together. This would be an embarrassment to put on air. The current opening is great. All it needed was updated cast photos. White background, keep the actors names and keep it simple. I don’t understand how this even got approved. I also feel like the graphics don’t match the music and it feels slow. The women got diamonds and champagne in the background but the guys got nothing. Maybe it's supposed to be *suggestive* of them? The woman in the silhouette seems to be wearing something similar to Nikki's gala gown. Everyone featured in today's opening looked beautiful. But, everything about the opening around the cast in just WRONG! Where are the pen strokes animating the Y&R logo? Why the spotlights? It makes sense for the gala step and repeat scenes, but it has nothing to do with Y&R beyond these gala episodes. I would change the font used for the names of the performers and get rid of the "ground spotlight effect" and give it more of a silky flowing shimmer.
