I have no sources, except the dream which is a wish my heart made.

But seriously won’t we know soon? Either he will be off the air in a week or two or he won’t. And if he’s not leaving and they dropped the MOC storyline turns true love for no reason I find this show very confusing.

Truth. Yeah if He wasnt Vaxxed on NOV 1 but has gotten Vaxxed Im sure he will be back soon

I think the tunnel collapse was a way to write Jason out & bring him back if SB ended up getting the vaccine done

Now I also read Carolyn Hennesy wasnt keen on the mandate. Wonder if weve seen the last of Diane?

To me this thread plays like an old James Reilly script:

Someone talking to themselves in their living room - "I cannot marry the one I love because my previously unknown brother, who is secretly dying, but won't tell her, is in love with her"

equals

Someone posting to this thread - "I must defend and believe my unnamed sources even though these rumors are gross, illogical, and have been debunked, because I dislike how their character is written"

I don't think the rumors were absurd and I believed them for a while but it sure doesn't feel like anyone involved is acting as if SB is leaving imminently.

Wouldn't it be funny if they had let the rumors run rampant on the Internet to gin up suspense and interest in the climax of the Peter story?
Unlikely for soaps nowadays, we are genuinely not sure Jason will "survive" (I mean, even if dead he wouldn't really be dead but you get my point) whatever final battle.
So honestly from a marketing POV this is well-played by GH if that's what they are doing.

I find it irresponsible for The Talk to have supposedly an unvaccinated actor on its set not only there but without a mask.

He's definitely gone from the show. Why all the mystery by him? Just say you're vaccinated. He's not.

Some shows are ok with a negative test if you are gonna be on set. Thats why I wonder what Days. BB & YR have for mandates: Vaccine or Negative tests

I know they all still do masking before filming

If he doesnt come out of that rubble, you know that we will Jason has "Died". I mean what else can you do with Mob characters like Jason & Sonny

    • I hope for a multi-year renewal, too! This is the only show I've been excited to see the next episode in forever. Considering their demos are quite decent. the initial episodes showed there is still an interest in daytime, and it has helped to boost the rest of the soap line up at times, it should be around for a while.

    • I agree.  How many times did we have to watch Bobby vs. J.R., or Blake vs. Alexis, knowing that nothing would change at the end, and that everything would go back to status quo, so that they could fight the same, exhausting battles all over again?  If nothing else, I give FC and KL credit for trying to keep things fresh, even if I think FC, in particular, went too far in the other direction and became unrecognizable even to the most diehard fans. Exactly.  Plus, because viewers were so burned out by the kind of serialized storytelling that was beginning to affect even half-hour comedies, I think MSW represented a nice change of pace.  You didn't have to watch every week, or watch from the beginning of each season, to know what was going on with Miss Fletcher.  Instead, you could watch a complete story in one episode, de-stress from whatever had happened in your own life last week, gear yourself up for the week ahead, and be okay. If you notice, though, there were differences between those two shows and what Aaron Spelling had produced in the past.  For one thing, there was a greater emphasis on youth; and while characters on 90210 and MP certainly had more disposable incomes than the average viewer, their wealth wasn't as opulent as what we'd seen on DYNASTY or on "Hart to Hart."  Even the battles among Alison, Amanda, Billy and others at that advertising agency weren't as histrionic as those between Denver Carrington and ColbyCo.
    • I saw a conversation yesterday with Liam with the 7 dwarves hat and Steffy -  I know she did not say re: Hope and Liam said - well look at Finn and you forgave him right?      I know I did not hear Steffy say “well but you can’t compare that to…”  For *uck sake someone call the bitch out!?     You’re right, we shouldn’t compare your forgiveness for the dude with devil spawn seed whose daughter locked you in a cage along with crazy stepmom/mom/Grandmother who has also SHOT YOU BOTH - and multiple murder attempts but you have to exist with them / Hope’s part in a takeover which you know was FAR LESS THAN CARTER BECAUSE HOPE IS NOT AN ATTORNEY…. Goodness no, no the same thing at alllllllll.   When they do Steffy’s absence at least let it be because they all find out what a manipulative ho she is in her own right.
    • I think a lot of us still agree with that. I do hope that the resurgence in the soap world with Beyond the Gates will push ABC to either bring back these shows or produce a newer one.
    • So, this was fun. Elsewhere, friendly to polls, a poll on what do you want to see at the Nurses Ball. The Gio reveal got 18%, for Blaze to return & sing also got 18%, for Jennifer Hudson to do a cameo & sing got 10% and for Lucy to lose various parts of clothing got 9% but the huge one was the reveal of Drew/Nina sex which got a whopping 45%!
    •   I liked the effect of the curtains closing. Yeah it was like the end of Act I.   Or maybe they are simply trying to emphasize the drama of the end of an episode -- instead of a random abrupt end that has happened in some prior episodes.
    • I posted this in the behind the scenes thread but I know this thread is busier so wanted to mention it here as well. During their instagram live yesterday, Daphnee Duplaix and Trisha Mann-Grant mentioned that they will find out this month if the show is renewed for another season. Just a heads up so we can keep an eye out for an announcement and keep our fingers crossed for a multi-year renewal!
    • They haven't explained the ownership of the Bistro, but Doug told Holly the other day he didn't get the job there. Basically Roman just hired Doug on the spot and gave him a room.  It was really nice of Roman.  I don't know if he knows who Doug is or that he stole Julie's necklace.  That was unclear-at least to me. ETA-I feel like the Bistro might just die and people will just pretend to order food there like Leo did today.  Sophia is on bed rest so no one works there anymore.  They can use that set for something else.
    • I'm not sure how I felt about it, but I do kind of like that it felt like the show telling us this concludes the first chapter of the series. Could be interesting if they only do it for big aftermath episodes. The biggest mistake with Martin is that it's almost hard to buy his anger because we've gotten no strong scenes with him and his parents. They've all been with Anita/Vernon. I can't even remember him ever even saying one word to Nicole, even in passing.
