Well this is all happening rather quickly. Instead of making it even slightly organic they talk about the Possession non stop for 3 days while no one has mentioned it in years. I feel like they could have dropped hints throughout the last few weeks but full speed ahead with no subtlety at all. I thought the show was good again today, but this certainly doesn't have the build up that JER gave it 25 years ago. I am still willing to watch it play out and I assume RC doesn't have the luxury of being able to use the DH's 4-5 days a week anymore, but it's happening fast for sure.
I continue to enjoy the twins and I though Johnny/Chanel and John/Allie were very good. Deidre was fine today too.
^^^^gorgeous photos. The ones in color are truly treasures!
Is it just me or does it seem like, relatively speaking, AMC is more relevant in mainstream media, a decade after its ABC finale, than some/all of the remaining soaps? Not saying any of them are hugely relevant in mainstream media at all, but relatively speaking…
Another example of soaps adhering to the old fashioned rule that brides can only wear white at their first wedding (Nicki Newman & Laura Spencer being the obvious exception to the rule)
I am not a wig expert, but to this day I don't understand how they got a lace front to sit so flat on Catherine Hickland's head? The hair and costume departments at Capitol did most of the heavy lifting to differentiate Jenny from Julie. I am amused by the idea that Jenny was trying desperately to suppress her insanity as shown in her tight buns and constrictive collars.
Good news, when they were done with that dress, they could recycle it as dust cover for over one thousand lamps!
Also, wasn't it nice of Mark Denning to show up at the wedding of the woman who shot him on his wedding day?
