I will not be satisfied until someone punches him in the [!@#$%^&*] face!  Cam taking this turn over that serial killing sexual assaulting terrorist just makes him a horrible character.  Another one bites the dust (in the name of Stanco).

I was intrigued by the historical references in Scotty’s scenes yesterday with Liz and Cam - talking about Jeff with Liz, and his own past with Cam. Nice use of history there, which is interesting because I’ve been watching late 70s GH clips with Scotty and Jeff, and it’s actually interesting to see how it all unfolded back then.

Would it be worth bringing back RDA as Jeff after 39 years? I mean, if Kim Delaney can return to daytime after 36 years...

Problem is, for me, that we saw it coming what now feels so long ago that the set-up, which necessarily takes time for us to believe Nina/"Mike" as a couple and then get us invested in the final reveals, feels like it is taking foooooooorever even though technically they are pacing it the way it should be.
I'd say the main mistake for me was to have telegraphed that Nina was going to meet Sonny two or three weeks before she did. Had it happened as a surprise we'd still be digesting the thought and building up excitement for the fallout and accepting that they do need to write the setup slowly. But we wasted some time and had plenty of time to digest it and now it already feels overlong (especially since the Sonny amnesia story itself *has* been overlong).

That is true.

We did see this storyline coming from the very beginning, but it actually seems well plotted out unlike the Cyrus storyline. If they just build it up to the right time, and not drag it out longer than they should, the big reveal and payoff will be great to see.

It's stupid that nobody, nurses, doctors, police or Nina's new friend haven't thought of running a DNA or fingerprint check on Mike.  Mike found out about the embezzlement with just a phone call from the bar.

    • Hahaha!!! Not Naomi being sure Chelesa ain't filming this time!!!   At last! Kat is proven right!!!   And hey, Nicole's Doctor friend, hey!!!   So far...this is giving.
    • Leslie having the nerve to show up at the Dupree House was pure insanity. Bill being revealed to be more ruthless than anyone would have thought was a good development. I have to imagine that will change Dani's view of wanting him back. The whole reveal was well done and Trisha Mann-Grant owned those scenes. That was most definitely material for an Emmy submission reel.
    • I agree, all the Guys Tux were nice. I like how they differ from each other and all stylish in a way. Awe, same. Can not believe I actually have enjoying a current daytime soap. Rewatching these episodes over the weekend as a jump back into Ryan's Hope and Santa Barbara. Agreed! Exciting times.

And it was pretty dope we didn't know that tidbit before the reveal.
    • yes I thought of the Renee party... But this is different because I'm talking specifically about the revealer convincing someone else to throw the party.  And the someone else complies, having no idea what the revealer plans. I'm wondering if Michele Val Jean did a first with BTG in 2025. But the BTG thread is already so busy -- that I thought it important to *NOT* clog it up with discussing this, so I brought the question here instead. That way, if other reveals come up in conversation, it's not a problem on this "general retro soap" thread.
    • Well, good that they showed Vanessa though I wish she was there.   Lol. And here comes Naomi. AND an explanation from Jacob.

She is diabolical! Remember in this scene she offered Martin a brownie which seemed so random? In this episode its revealed that when he was a kid, Ted used to bring him to a restaurant where the waitress would give him brownies....that waitress was Leslie. She was playing games and trying to jog his childhood memory
    • Yay!!!!!! And made it ON TIME, TOO!!!   And this is giving DAYS reveals circa late 90s already.
    • Bish what? I was not expecting that, I was for sure expecting him to go after Nicole (He still can). Looks like Leslie put her out! I love these new developments, Eva Dorian Lording her way into Fairmont Crest. My good sis better trap that doctor.
    • It should be in its synopsis on the DVR description of the show.
