I don't know why but my gut is telling me Lucas is Charlie's killer. That option was not explored in the least and I feel like they gave Bryan a contract for a very intentional story reason.

Belle's coat seems to be key, and I don't think they're the same size

I'm still guessing Ava

I didn't understand what the implication was with the button because we know Belle didn't do it. My second guess was Claire. We know Ron loves D.I.D. stories so maybe Claire killed Charlie wearing Belle's coat and doesn't remember because she had a dissociative episode.

Pretty ballsy of Sami to cheat on her husband while her mother in law (or the person she thinks is her mother in law) was sleeping in the other room.

I'm here for Brady and Chloe. I'm really enjoying the back and forth between them.

It is ballsy, but I love Lumi so I am okay with it.  Offscreen EJ is a drag...I really don't think Sami should be saddled with that baggage tbh.

I am more of a Phloe fan, but I think Chloe is 1000 times more appropriate for Brady than Kristen.  I can never get that 1997 scene of ED's Kristen telling Brady she is his new mommy out of my head.

Haha... only in soap opera land can the kid whose diapers you changed grow up to become the love of your life

And yeah, I'm a Lumi fan too. This was a long time coming and I'm glad that it happened. But at the same time I am a little excited to see what's going to happen when nuEJ shows up.

I feel like people should be WAY more creeped out by Kristen and Brady, but they aren't.  Marlena is Kristen's bff, so    I am also excited about nuEJ.  I just never liked EJami.  Sami should be with Lucas.  She was never meant to be with the Austins or EJ's of the world.

During ED's first return as Kristen, when it was short-term and something of a ploy on her part, I liked Brady and Kristen. They had good chemistry; it was weird but it worked because it straddled a fine line between a scheme and some real passion and you could just enjoy a ride you knew was short-term.
When they started to want us to buy into it as a legitimate couple who is trying to make it for real and play them in stories over time is when they lost me. A fling? I was into it. A love story? no way.

Agreed.  I liked them at first.  I thought it was a great revenge plot by Kristen and ED and EM had good chemistry.  SH and EM don't really have much chemistry and they don't make sense as a couple or a love story.  Kristen should be a villian, plotting revenge against John/Marlena for all eternity, not whining about a kid she knew when he was a toddler.  Brady is no prize, but there are better options for him.

Dramatically I hope that either Claire or John killed Charlie. I'd love for Sami to secretly know it's one of them and be protecting them. The tension that would cause with Belle and Marlena and the extended family would be nice, considering they are so quick to judge Sami when she does something wrong. Especially if it's Claire, I'd love to see where it takes Belle and Sami's relationship.

“As the great Whitney Houston said, ‘My name is not Susan...’”

Hat’s off to the scriptwriter.

Jackée’s delivery and facial expressions are A+.

All the soaps are bad, but only DAYS tries—and unlike GH, often succeeds—in entertaining.

Are Jack and Gwen kinda creepy to anyone else?  Their scenes are just weird. I could just be reading the room wrong, but they aren't hitting the father/daughter notes very well.

Also, WTH are Jarlena?  Just sleeping in?  Isn't Kristen worried about them walking into their own living room lol?  Or the other 40 people that live in Jarlena's penthouse?  It seems unnecessarily risky to go out of costume like that.

Does anybody have an update on the show being renewed? I know they’re almost done filming for the “season” which would end with August.

I've been asking the same for a few months now and it's crickets. I can't recall the renewal ever being announced this late and I'm a little bit concerned.

    • All I can think of is if a lot of big names were leaving around that time she wanted him back as a stopgap, although I have never seen any real evidence that he was popular with GH viewers.
    • I loved watching Shanice hand Leslie her ass and finally shutting her up. It was so good. I also love Martin & Smitty's family.  Anita has to have some sort of plan giving Leslie the tickets to mail for Winterfest. She has to be setting her up for a fall. It's pretty obvious to me Vernon is not cheating with Sharon. I think Sharon is helping him with his terrible singing voice for Winterfest. I still believe Bill & Dani are endgame but I love Dani & Andre too. I am definitely enjoying this story. And making Hayley a black widow is a nice twist.
    • Sorry for the spam. Wasn't sure where to put this, it's from Tony Geary's husband's IG. Tony watching Genie and Maurice on Mo's show.
    • This show is really trundling along BTW. When is someone going to show up to slit Beastmaster's throat or crack the whip on metrosexual Sidwell? (BTW, openly presenting this cheery bon vivant as casually bisexual would at least be something vaguely diverting.) At least kill Brennan by year's end. I'm bored.
    • She told Vanessa to "DOUBLE her offer" on the Jarvis house.  The Jarvis family accepted the doubled price.  Assuming the house has an appraised value of $2,000,000, she's theoretically paid the Jarvis family $4,000,000 for the house.  The bank would loan Leslie 80% of the appraised value ($1,600,000), and Leslie had to pay the balance with cash at closing --- $2,200,000.  She only had ONE million.  Where the hell did she get the rest?!  And now she's got contractors working on the house all day & half the night.  Who's paying THEM?  I keep thinking all this will crash around her.  Either that or the writers have absolutely no idea the limits of a million dollars.  Sounds like a "lot of money", but it obviously ain't when we look at Leslie's spending since she got that million dollar check in August.

    • Vernon is an idiot. Why would he have Sharon in the same hotel that Leslie is staying at?
    • Yes, that out of the blue return was odd. Maybe GG found a forgotten clause in the contract he signed when he was wooed to ABC and they were forced to take him back! Like George Reinholt he talked about the contract that promised him primetime roles. But it was loaded in the networks favor. I think it was Gloria Loring that re-signed at Days on the promise of primetime opportunities, but that was all it was- she was put up for guest spots and TV movies but not necessarily guaranteed that she get the role.
    • I still am baffled by why Monty brought back stunt hire Gerald Gordon in the early '80s out of nowhere for like a year. I haven't found anyone who can come up with a thing he did in that second stint of note.
    • It's interesting to watch this having watched The Doctors. I'm not sure I'm seeing that much of a difference in the characters Gerald Gordon and Anna Stuart played on The Doctors and what they're playing here.
