I wonder about that! People whom we assume wouldn’t return to daytime (within reason) might be open to it with other productions slowing down or not hiring as many people? I know a lot of productions are restarting or have restarted...

As someone who finds Vincent Irizarry smug and irritating beyond belief as a performer, I know how it feels to cringe at a beloved daytime actor. But, just curious, what do you dislike about MA?

It's obvious a lot of actors just aren't willing to travel at this point to their job in California if they live elsewhere and I can't say I blame them. I have no desire to fly anywhere anytime soon (for example, Greg Vaughan, though he cited the writing, I also believe he doesn't want to travel from North Carolina).

 

She also has what, two grandkids popping out soon so ... it's not a surprise a lot of vets are kinda 'over it'.

Probably. Guess we will see. All I heard was he didn't want to travel right now. He has a life in North Carolina. I think many actors are taking a second look at their lives during this pandemic. But I imagine he wouldn't turn the job down  lol 

 

I'm guessing at this point DAYS isn't "worth" his travel. I imagine if a show were to satisfy him with the writing he'd have no problem traveling but who knows.

 

The reality is, I think it's risky to fly and I think many actors agree. Just my take, that's all.

I don't blame Melissa Reeves for deciding not to commute. 

While I think she is an insipid that, I've always loved her portrayal of Jennifer.

It really does feel like the end of an era with two long-time Hortons leaving (KA and now MR). If the writing was better and the Coronavirus not an issue, either one could have held the Horton mantle for the remainder of the show (which I have a feeling will be in the next year or so. There's just no life left.). 

This is a dumb exit for Eric. I get GV wanting to be done, fine. Recast the part.  It can be successfully done

Seems she has Covid concerns but will be back when she feels safe.

I don't know of this person's history at all.

I don't watch days but I'm so happy with this news.  I've been waiting for her racist ass to get fired. She can stay gone.

 

I loved Cady on ATWT so I hope she'll fit in on Days.
