I don't know much more, I'm afraid but thanks for mentioning it to me. Her name is one that's always been around, and I do love that Swamp Thing run (and that issue).

Catherine O'Hara won a SAG last night and the response from the audience is amongst the most genuine I've ever seen at an awards show. It tells you how truly loved she was.

What a lovely speech from Seth Rogen about the fantastic Catherine O'Hara. And the audience's reaction is a perfect illustration of just how much everybody respected and loved Catherine, too. ❤️

Thank you for posting this - I had a hard time finding it. The Actor Awards Memoriam has now become the best of the awards shows, BAFTA used to be, but now they focus on the performer, such a glaring mistake.

It's nice that several daytime folks made the cut: Fulton would have been thrilled that they used a clip of Lisa at her sparkling best.

I agree; the Actor Awards (ngl, hate the name change but I digress) dedication was beautifully done. And I, too, was surprised to see Geary, Rogers AND Fulton included! But it also warmed my heart to see them honoured by SAG-AFTRA the other night. I also saw the BAFTA tribute and while I do have to say they excluded several, it did also feel like the focused more on UK-known people (which is fine).

RIP Country Joe McDonald, famous for his song at Woodstock 1969, still relevant - Just switch Vietnam for Iran in the lyrics and it fits today.

The original "Fish Cheer" for the band Fish was
Give me an F!
Give me an I!
Give me an S!
Give me an H!
What's that spell?
Fish!
What's that spell?
Fish!
What's that spell?
Fish!
----

At Woodstock, he famously changed it to
Give me an F
Give me a U
Give me a C
Give me a K
What's that spell?
Fúck!
What's that spell?
Fúck!
What's that spell?
Fúck!
___

Well, come on all of you big strong men
Uncle Sam needs your help again
Got himself in a terrible jam
Way down yonder in Vietnam
Put down your books and pick up a gun
We're going to have a whole lot of fun

And it's 1, 2, 3
What are we fighting for?
Don't ask me, I don't give a damn
Next stop is Vietnam

And it's 5, 6, 7
Open up the pearly gates
Well, there ain't no time to wonder why
Whoopee!
We're all going to die

Come on Wall Street don't be slow
Why man, this war-a-go-go
There's plenty good money to be made
Supplying the Army with the tools of the trade
Just hope and pray that if they drop the bomb
They drop it on the Viet Cong

And it's 1, 2, 3
What are we fighting for?
Don't ask me, I don't give a damn
Next stop is Vietnam

And it's 5, 6, 7
Open up the pearly gates
Well, there ain't no time to wonder why
Whoopee!
We're all going to die

Now, come on generals let's move fast
Your big chance has come at last
Now you can go out and get those reds
The only good Commie is the one that's dead
And you know that peace can only be won
When we've blown them all to kingdom come

(Sing it!)
And it's 1, 2, 3
What are we fighting for?
Don't ask me, I don't give a damn
(Louder!)
Next stop is Vietnam

And it's 5, 6, 7
Open up the pearly gates
Well, there ain't no time to wonder why
Whoopee!
We're all going to die

"Listen people, I don't know how you expect to ever stop the war if you can't sing any better than that. There's about 300,000 of you f*ckers out there. I want you to start singing. Come on."

And it's 1, 2, 3
What are we fighting for?
Don't ask me, I don't give a damn
Next stop is Vietnam

And it's 5, 6, 7
Open up the pearly gates
Well, there ain't no time to wonder why
Whoopee!
We're all going to die

Now come on mothers throughout the land
Pack your boys off to Vietnam
Come on fathers don't hesitate
Send your sons off before it's too late
And you can be the first one on your block
To have your boy come home in a box

(All right!)
And it's 1, 2, 3
What are we fighting for?
Don't ask me, I don't give a damn
Next stop is Vietnam

And it's 5, 6, 7
Open up the pearly gates
Well, there ain't no time to wonder why
Whoopee!
We're all going to die
Alright
