There are certain performers who are just magic- Madeline Khan, Gilda Radner, Robin Williams and Catherine O’Hara. I am so sad about this death.

It doesn't surprise me that she was an ATWT fan. I've found that many creative types (actors, writers, directors, etc.) gravitate either toward the P&G shows or the ABCD ones. As a longtime online friend once remarked, "People who like to read [classic literature]...also like ATWT and GL."

That's a good point. I know Bette Davis and I think Tennessee Williams were fans too.

I wonder if Catherine was also drawn to the show because of how P&G-coded Days of the Week was.

LOL! Yeah, someone at "SCTV" had to have been a devoted P&G soap fan. DOTW was entirely too similar to the P&G shows of that era to have been just a coincidence.

If I remember a commentary track correctly, Eugene Levy wrote all of the "Days of the Week" sketches.
