It would be hilarious if someone went live wearing a robe and it's possible that it will happen. I also wonder if anyone will be thirsty enough to go live shirtless.

Will nominees get dressed up for this? Or will it be bunny slippers and bathrobes?

The Daytime actors/performers who are nominated better be prepped and ready to give a speech (like a reality tv talking head) or they better keep their mouths shut about how hard they work and folks not taking the genre serious!

Daytime emmies for soaps are silly at this point.  If there's only 4 on the air only 2 should get nominated.  They shouldn't even have them for soaps now.  If there were only one left will they give them an emmy every year?

I see GMA3 with Strahan, Sarah and Keke got nominated.  Now you know you have some quality programming when that happens.  It likely won't be on the air by next year.  Funny stuff.

Jason Thompson as Billy Abbott on Y&R! Poor guy was given this god-awful excuse of a DID storyline where his alter ego was chewing gum and vowed revenge over Adam who killed Delia, a storyline that happened SEVEN FREAKING YEARS AGO!!!

Thompson did good acting in that story, however idiotically it was written.  Thompson is  a good actor, but Y&R writing of Billy since the latest regime was beyond stupid.

How on Earth is Thaao Penghlis(Tony, DAYS) a Lead Actor,? Should've been in supporting, even guest.  It is absolutely stupid to have the younger actors and actresses in one category, basically cutting the Younger Actor award, when several people were robbed of noms, including (if eligible) Casey Moss (Ex-JJ, DAYS), Will Lipton(Cam, GH), & Rob Wilson (Ben, DAYS).

Robert Scott Wilson is 32, he hasn't been eligible for younger actor in about 7 years.

And his heavy breathing doesn't count as acting. I am glad he didn't get nominated. He seems like a real ass in real life.

The Smirky interview is EXACTLY why the Emmys are a joke. Chandler is clueless. He really thinks that he should get an Emmy for a short reel? How about showing a broad, longer range of work instead of a couple scenes?  He must have found the few scenes where he didn’t smirk. (Thank you Freddie Smith for getting smirky his nom!) And his comment about not wanting to see long reels because he knows right away who he will vote for is classic ignorance. Smirky needs to grow up. I shudder to think that this brainless person has been a judge for the emmys. And that he votes in general.

Terrible. And no GH did not submit the Michael Easton stand-alone episode, did they? OMG if they did.
