May 21, 20205 yr Member Jason Thompson?! I swear when someone isn't catching on with fans they get them a political nomination to justify keeping them...
May 21, 20205 yr Member And that's why they shouldn't have combined the Younger Actors categories William Lipton, Casey Moss and Henry Joseph Samiri were all robbed. Edited May 21, 20205 yr by AbcNbc247

May 21, 20205 yr Member Super happy Camilla Banus didn't get nominated. Her fans are annoying af and believe because she remembers her lines, she's Emmy worthy. Not even in the small batch remaining is she worthy!
May 21, 20205 yr Member I just find these embarrassing now. It feels a little "please put these out of their misery." I can't even be happy when deserving actors get nominated because the competition is so scarce and limited.
May 21, 20205 yr Member Lol I don’t know what’s worse, The Talk being hilariously wayyy over the top in their teleconference, some of these catergories, or that I didn’t honestly know the name of the actress who plays Lola on Y&R 🙈 Edited May 21, 20205 yr by soapfan770
May 21, 20205 yr Member Oh Lord... Acting categories for Digital Series now. Oh Lord... to everything, really. My only highlights are seeing Katherine Kelly Lang (and Arianne Zucker) nominated for Lead Actress, and Susan Seaforth-Hayes for Supporting Actress. I would love to see KKL finally win, especially considering she's been nominated so few times, unjustly, IMO.

May 21, 20205 yr Member Always happy to see SSH nominated! I'm happiest to see my favourite drag queen, the iconic WILLAM, get nominated for Eastsiders. It would be fantastic if he won.
May 21, 20205 yr Member Would Gina Tognoni have been able to submit this year? I thought the scenes leading up to her departure were Emmy-worthy and I'm kind of disappointed her name didn't show up (also would have been a great way to stick it to the execs at Y&R for letting her go in favour of Michelle Stafford). I don't think she would have submitted. I agree she would have been deserving but I highly doubt she submitted.
May 21, 20205 yr Member Thanks for sharing this. Our governor had his press briefing at 2 PM, so The Talk was preempted in my area. 1 hour ago, AbcNbc247 said: And that's why they shouldn't have combined the Younger Actors categories What they should have done - with ALL the acting categories - is simply shorten the list of nominees. Three - maybe four at the very most - in each category these days would suffice.

I think they should've just kept it the way it was, but if a change had to be made they should have just shorten the lists for the younger actors only. By combining them, I feel like a younger actor, who actually deserves a nomination or a win, is going to miss out every year.
