I don't know why they bother to try and fake stuff like "Paris" - they might as well just had Sarah off screen for a while!

I guess since we know Brandon Barash was back filming in August (!) last year and the Chabby series launched August 1st, I assume they shot that sometime around July and wanted to get the most out of the set before taking it down...

I agree. One of my worries about this Stefan/Jake story is that RC will use it to redeem her in some way. I hope not. I've enjoyed her this past week. CB has been giving all kinds of diva bitca in her acting and I've been loving it. Like her scene with Rafe where I was annoyed with GG for being soooo low energy until Chad interrupted them. She was giving him so much to play with and he seem like he was just line reading. I was like ugh.

Gabi had a bitchy undercurrent that foamed up to the top and overflowed. It was working, but they went too far, and the crap with Julie ruined her completely as a viable character, to me.

THIS.

Even on OLTL, CB played better bad IMO. Even anything I find her much stronger as an actress now and it shows. And her turning into a bitca, from what I saw was gradually and not totally out of left field.

I’m liking StefanJake’s sense of humor. Already he seems to have more of a personality than some of the other characters do.

And I’m still here for the Lani/Kristen friendship. The actresses themselves have really good chemistry as well.

Kate Mansi is incedible. I'm so annoyed this show is losing her again, when I don't think any of the other younger actresses on the show are anwyhere near her level. The difference today between her masterclass and whatever the hell Linsay Godfrey was doing in her "Paris" scenes couldn't have been more stark.

The Kristen/Lani friendship doesn't work for me. I just don't buy it.

    •   Thank you! Agreed on both posts. And the comments about Mike Manning are nonsense.
    • I haven't watched yet, but did they explain the current ownership of The Bistro?  Because when RonC was writing, wasn't he applying for work with Sophia?
    • I think Brandon has gotten better in normal day to day scenes, but he’s very over the top when the character is meant to be angry or agitated. I did laugh when she started yelling at Leslie and then when he started to throw all those damn books, lol. He needs an acting coach to work out some of these kinks.
    • I've never found him as bad as some. I think he's always shined in scenes with Vernon, who should be his father. I also think he has great chemistry with Kat and Dani which I hope they tap into more over time. Dani/Martin feel like such a fun and believable Auntie/Nephew relationship.
    • I'm fighting for my life on another board for my husband Brandon and I'll do it here too lmao
    • I don't expect Lois to be the same person she was 25 years ago, but she's definitely lost a lot of what made Lois unique.  It's clear the show doesn't know how to write for her, and the sole purpose of Lois is to hide this Gio secret.  It's a shame she doesn't interact with more of the canvas.  It's a waste of Rena's talents. I like Brook Kerr most of the time.  She can be hit or miss.  I totally get what you are saying about her line readings too.  I honestly think the character really suffers being stuck in the Curtis pairing.  She's much better than Tanisha Harper's Jordan lol.
    • Friday and yesterday's episode is what daytime television should be. The other shows airing could take a page from yesterday's show.  I loved the rage, hurt and anger Nicole unleashed on Ted.  Daphnee should be up for an Emmy nom for these scenes.  It broke my heart to see how Dana had locked Eva out.  I do feel sorry for Eva.    I am still bumfuzzled as to why Leslie/Dana went to the DuPree's and asked them to accept Kat UNLESS Eva is really Kat's twin (and really Nicole and Ted's daughter that maybe they though they lost or an embryo Dana/Leslie stole??) I loved how Anita and Vernon both shot her down.    Ohhh and let me just say Friday and yesterday was the MOST fire I have seen Martin have since the show started.  Maybe Brandon Clayborn is coming into his own with the role finally.
    • You've been seeing him all along. You just didn't know it was him, I guess.
