The strange thing is CBS has CBSN now but they don’t seem to utilize it well at all.

Agreed. All 3 major networks are planning on pre-empting - even though NBC has MSNBC and all the cable networks are covering it and it’ll be streaming on the web. It’s not like anyone who really wants to watch it, can’t find it somewhere. CBS thinks it’s going to help Norah O’Donnel’s disastrous start to CBS Evening News - it won’t.

I'm not even sure this so much about CBS failing to properly utilize their streaming news channel (CBSN) as it is about the network making a conscious choice based on their belief that these hearings will get better ratings than any of the daytime soaps currently on their network roster.  They're making a conscious decision based upon their beliefs.  Their opinions of the soaps are not that high despite the fact that they recognize that these shows have some value for the network but they appear to believe that these hearings have more.

Eric Martsolf as Brooks Prentiss.

A first for Mr. Martsolf: a role he actually originates!  (Child actors who played Brooks in years past don't count.)

Arianne Zuker as Sharon's long-lost half-sister (by the same daddy).

Susan Seaforth Hayes back as Lauren's mom, Joanna.

That's a given. Y&R should snatch her up.

Or...Kristian Alfonso as Jabot's mysterious, new head of marketing (who makes an instant connection with Peter Bergman's Jack).

Matthew Ashford as a new Jabot lab tech/possible love interest for Eileen Davidson's Ashley.

No, bring her back as Barbara Anderson.  However, she could be someone's grandmother, raising the possibility that Brad Elliot has a grandson or granddaughter in GC.

NO MORE RESURRECTIONS.  Let the dead stay dead.  :)
