The writing was so on the wall for his tenure being up.  No love interest.  Kid killed off.  They didn’t even play up his connection that they established with Shiloh.  He was done the second they killed Oscar.

Honestly, who thought bringing Billy Miller onto GH as a recast Jason was a good idea in the first place?

 

Everyone, including BM should've known that once Steve Burton became available again, BM would've been out and SB would've been back as Jason. Once that was done he just became Drew, the pointless character, for no other reason than just to keep him on the show. They brought in Kim and Oscar to try to give him some story but it ultimately went nowhere. And now he's out.

 

I could see how this might have ruffled a few feathers behind the scenes.

It would have bee more interesting if Drew had the memory surgery. Then maybe he would have had both memories and what would that mean for Kim , Oscar, Sam, Monica, Jason etc

It was bound not to work.  Like him or not, Steve Burton is too identified with that role.  It's the same reason why Burton himself proved to be such a non-starter at Y&R that his character (Dylan) literally does not exist anymore.

Kemo's not the sharpest knife in the drawer and if she's not [!@#$%^&*] Miller, she's certainly obsessed with him.  Women always come out looking stupid while the men just sit back and get paid.  Like when LW decided she needed to defend that talking tree she's shacking up with.  He can't act so why is she fussing with GH fans?

Just got into it a few months ago with fans who talked about how bad Parking Lot Pet was.
