Thoughts:
A movie night?! That sounds exciting, but I would happily skip the popcorn. Never been a fan, and give me a nice classic romcom or a classic drama. Nothing modern at all.
Damn Jan. Really cannot take the damn hint, can she? LEAVE!
John and Jane Campbell? Chalat in the mountains? Haha. Vanessa is hilarious. I can absolutely tell she is trying to get under his skin, and it is hilarious to me.
The phrase "not my intention" really needs to be eliminated from everyone's vocabulary. It is so back-handed. Intent is shown through action, and Carlton's continued actions (repeating) show his character.
I get why Grayson does not want to go to a hospital, but he needs more than what Ashley is likely going to be able to provide.
Skip the crunchy edges. Let me just have the ooey-gooey middle piece of those brownies!
Hayley trying to be inclusive of Chelsea, then leaving them alone, is kind of alarming to me. I would be questioning it.
Girl... not Hayley flirting with the bartender. She is messy and a deplorable human being. Game? You have no game, Hayley. At all. And you suck at being a con artist.
So, Connor is the musician child. I suspect Noah is the more athletic one. Hopefully we will find out at some point in the future.
Kial is smooth as silk. Real smooth.
Jacob may need answers now but he really should have been more careful. His lack of brain usage is showing.
Grayson is being real bullheaded. I know he is trying to protect Ashley from Ren and Lia, but this could just backfire in the worst of ways.
Kial understands Nicole's situation better than Carlton does. Carlton is beyond stubborn, ignorant, and arrogant.
Aw, Dani is facing that empty nest syndrome later than she likely should be.
Uh-oh... Carlton, Nicole just saw your arrogance towards Kial, and I highly doubt it is going to bode well for you in the end.
Bill, you are fooling no one but the child bride, who thinks she has you lock, stock, and barrel.
Dani is totally going through that empty nest syndrome later on, but I appreciate her vulnerability in discussing it with Naomi. And I love the chunky-legged years. Those delicious chicken legs you just want to munch on.
Notes:
I absolutely manifested Slater's work today, and what a welcome work it is! A classic soap breakdown. Classic, easy-moving fluidity... just excellent. And Sandier is really coming into their own as a scriptwriter.
Williford did outstanding work today; those scenes with Jordi Vilasuso (Grayson) in Ashley's bathroom felt very tight and clostrophobic, which is what I am sure the character was likely feeling in those moments, due to his injuries. Brilliant perception.
Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa) is an absolute stunner in that red gown! Fits her like a damn glove.
White Nike ankle socks? No. They should be black, but do like the Nikes! Those are comfortable.
Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole) has fantastic chemistry with both Robert Christopher Riley (Carlton) and Greg Vaughan (Kial), but I do think Vaughan might be the journey the scripts are taking, even though I adore Riley, despite how much I am disliking the character of Carlton as of late.
