Emma is so annoying I want bad things to happen to her. I was glad she got fired, and I hope her luck turns even worse.

The dance runway show for Hope For The Future was trainwreck bad. People who stopped watching the show need to see this episode....that’s how bad it is.

But, but Justin tells us she is every time he's on screen.

I don't think she's bad looking.  She's just a bad actress.  She can't dance, she tries too hard, and she had mushy-mouth.

Hope putting Maya "in her place" after firing Emma would be more interesting if Rick was still around.  There seems to be a potential story there with how Maya reacted, but I doubt anything will come of it that's not centered around Emma and Zende ... I mean Xander.  I swear I hear Zende whenever they say his name.  LOL!

I am interested in this storyline with Emma/Xander/Hope and Forrester Creations. Maya accused Emma of being a spy for Bill but I think that Xander may actually be a spy. He's already being accused (jokingly) of being a spy by Julius and today he listed off reasons why he didn't believe that Emma was one. (Like he knows what it takes to be one).

I also thought that the exchange between Maya and Hope about Maya stepping out of bounds was interesting. I believe that Maya will continue to be suspicious of Emma and may be giving her a hard time at Forresters. Especially as her and Xander become closer. She does need to watch it not just because Hope likes Emma and it's her line, but because Xander is keeping secrets. Including lying about where he's from.

Maya was accusing Emma of keeping secrets yet her own cousin has at least one that she knows about. Things could blow up a bit in Maya's face when the whole truth about Xander comes out. And it may turn out he's a bigger threat to the company than Emma is.

Oh yes, I watched nearly the entire run of it, from 2011 to 2017.  I always rooted for her, but at the end of the day, she was the least talented dancer of the group. I thought her joining B&B would be for a dayplayer / recurring receptionist gig.   That mushy mouthed way of talking makes me uncomfortable, like she's about to trip up her lines.

This is so silly.  Doesn't Liam know about Taylor shooting Bill?  Why would he not know immediately that Bill would blackmail Steffy?  I don't watch regularly anymore but doesn't Liam know Taylor shot Bill?  And whether Steffy tells him about the blackmail wouldn't he just KNOW that Bill would be waiting to do this and hold it over her head?

First marriage to Steffy was a divorce. Then he married Steffy again and that marriage was annulled. His marriage to Ivy was annulled and now he annulled this marriage. So he has been married 4 times, but three of them were annulled. So only 1 marriage existed. Had he married Hope the first time when she was pregnant and this time around it would be 6 marriages total.

She was on Dance Moms since the beginning since she was a kid.  She never was the best and she definitely..um..grew up, but Dance Moms is the show with Abby Lee Miller and launched the 'career' of Maddie Ziegler the star of all Sia's weird videos.  It's a pretty good trashy show, but Nia was never the real star or anything.  She would not be in even the top 5 of the cast members I would cast on a tv show.

Ha! Ha!  You beat me too it. I always felt bad because she was the least talented and she didn't really have the body type for a dancer.  I think she also sings.  I mean, she had an endearing personality on Dance Moms, but it doesn't translate well to acting I guess.

    • Am I remembering correctly that the Madison's lived in a Spanish revival-style house? I have a vague recollection of the fireplace looking especially Spanish in style. It is unusual that Montecello had so many architectural styles.  Obviously, that might occur IRL.  But, look at other east coast soaps and there is a definitive style that is throughout (because it was styled by a set decorator) regardless of the income of the occupants.
    • @kalbir MSW was a powerhouse for CBS. Angela Lansbury was a superb actress. In 1985, TV viewers were tiring of the primetime soaps and the like. People wanted storytelling and MSW was great at that and had great guest stars. Storytelling -- an amazing and novel concept. CBS Daytime by 1985 was beating ABC so CBS was on the upswing.
    • I'd say just the opposite - conflict means they will find out and then be at odds. For the limited amount of time people on this show have conflict (if they aren't named Nina or Ric, I guess).
    • Totes mcgoats (aka I agree). But, now the character needs to move forward.  Clyde's exit was 12/11/24.  It is May.  She and Chad have been on one date. I don't think they've slept together. And she was only planning on sticking around for a year.
    • That is one of the best insults I've heard in a long time.  I burst out laughing when Kat called Eva that.  LOL Their scenes, of course, were really good.  Colby and Ambyr have so much chemistry.  The only thing I'd change is Kat saying "you're dead to me."  That's a phrase usually said about someone you care about.  I would've preferred something like "You will never be my sister," or something similar to that.  Nice contrast at the end with both mothers/daughters:  Kat comforting/consoling her mother, and Eva being locked out by her mother.  Yeah, I wasn't a big of fan of the singing either, especially after your daughter's life has been destroyed.  What?  LOL And I also agree with those that thought Dana/Leslie's scenes with the Dupree's didn't feel right since Eva is not a Dupree....unless she is.  But as of right now, she's not.
    • Trisha Mann-Grant, Ambyr Michelle, Sean Freeman are destined for bigger and better things. They need to move on as soon as their initial contracts are done.
    • Daphnée Duplaix and Trisha Mann-Grant on Instagram live, 5/5/2025 just concluded, saved here https://www.instagram.com/p/DJSsYb7PDv8/
    • I really need to see Anita in a scene that isn't with a family member. In fact, I would have preferred that she would have gotten rid of the mob and had a one on one with Leslie to lay down the law with her.  I'm going to say it, Mike Manning has been completely lifeless on this show. Other than people's superficial fondness for him, I don't get what they see in him as an actor. I never saw him on DAYS though. The show had another really strange cut right before the opening credits where it looked like they almost cut off Nicole mid-sentence.  Kat/Eva are carrying this show on their backs. Lock them in for lifetime contracts, I beg.
    • There's a 1980 scene of Victor and Katherine in the Chancellor Estate living room where they went over a contract that would put Victor in charge of Chancellor Industries, but it was rewritten that Katherine brought Victor to Genoa City so he could run Chancellor Industries.
    • Put me in the minority in being happy about Cat not being Abby. After the two adult recasts played tag with the role, it's time for a few years of rest. I have a huge list of things I hate about RC's writing, but that choice was not one of them.
