I was reading yesterday about Allison Mack (Chloe from Smallville) allegedly being "second in command" in the cult Catherine Oxenberg's daughter is in. I'd wondered what had happened to her since Smallville, but I hadn't expected this.

I read about this earlier. How despicable!  They have the women on special diets and the actress looks like she hasn't eaten in months!

I remember people here would talk about what a difficult time his writers had. I didn't know it went that far...

I cannot keep up anymore with all who have been outed as sexual predators.  It is just too overwhelming.

Close to 600 actresses has signed a statement which was published in one of the major newspapers here, where they talk about their own experiences with sexual harassment. Many of them from state subsidized theatres like The Royal Dramatic Theatre. Many quotes were included and it was horrifying to read what these women had been through.

I saw our Minister of Culture on a tv news show after this was published and, even though her demeanor was calm and composed, you could see how furious and appalled she was beneath the surface.

The article about Harvey Weinstein has really opened up a huge can of worms regarding sexual harassment, and I hope that this will lead to real change. It's disgusting to think about how widespread this has been.

God, I love Ellen Page (her Gaycation documentary series is amazing) and my heart breaks for her.

The only good thing about this whole scandal in Hollywood is that so many people are realizing that they are not alone. More men are stepping forward about their own traumas. Maybe now more people in positions of power will think twice before imposing their wills and bodies on those defenseless. I can only hope and pray that real change will happen.
