Catching up on my DAYS binge-fest, finally just a couple episodes behind. I *love* that DAYS is no longer a chore to watch.

I'm glad the wedding was a hoax that Victor, Maggie, & Justin were in on, but I thought for sure they'd throw out the "B" word (Bonnie) during that time. Guess I'll have to keep tuning in and see! But really, Bonnie's mannerisms are coming out as she's pretending to be Adrienne, you would think Maggie of all people would flashback to 2004, 2005, etc. when she had to battle with Bon-Bon every day.

That said, I gotta give major props to Judi Evans. Indeed, she plays the two roles magnificently. I initially HATED her 2003-2007 run as Bonnie, but this new twist a decade later has reinvigorated her performance. I can see why Evans enjoys playing the role.

The past week's worth of shows have been campy, over-the-top, emotional, heartbreaking and genuinely interesting. Sami & Kate...

Can't ask for for more than that, other than some decent non-claustrophobic sets.

Meh... Considering the circumstances (locked up in prison for someone else's crime, in solitary confinement, no phone privileges, no hope of getting out), I'd be overcome with emotion too. I thought it was well played. The actors get ZERO rehearsal time and crank out like 8 episodes in one week. It makes me appreciate the on-the-spot waterworks that actresses like Deidre Hall, Lauren Koslow, Judi Evans, and Ali Sweeney are able to muster even moreso. JMO.

BD's acting in those scenes where Adrianne had called him from prison were atrocious. That whole scene annoyed me.

Loved the scenes we got with Maggie and Victor after the non wedding. Higley would've never given them such scenes.

Ah a RC staple, connecting everybody in town(Sheila/Eli). With DAYS I don't actually mind it, as the show has been isolated for such a long time.

I just watched the scenes with her wailing in Justin's arms, and I wasn't moved as I should have been.  It was off and the dramatic music just couldn't compensate!

Days is certainly more watchable, but the oomph is just not there.  The sense of urgency is non existent I only look forward to Eli and Gabi (and sometimes Paul) right now.  Once Eric is over Nicole and her toupe, I'm hoping to enjoy him too.

And for the love of God, can someone get Melissa Reeves a bottle of hair color, PLEASE!  She insists on looking 70!

I like the way that Ron ties people on the canvas together like Eli and Sheila. I find their backstory makes Eli much more interesting to me now as a character.

I hope Ron breaks up Rafe and Hope. I am enjoying their "fight" scenes lately and keep hoping each time that she calls off the engagement! I loved her calling him out on being a hypocrite today in regards to Sami and asking if it was because he had been married to her!

Weds/Thurs were just bleh to me. Not bad eps but everything just seemed so slow. Hoping that tomorrow picks up the pace and has a great cliffhanger again.

    • They've been on same day for three episodes, which is a good thing because the days flowed weird to me before.
    • I see both Lois and BLQs sides re Gio BLQ wanted her son to be happy. Lois wanted to make sure it happened, so she gave him to family. Selfish?  Yes, but I get it Gio was raised by a loving mother and extended family. Lois followed BLQ wishes Great acting by AS & RS

date: Tuesday, May 27 | Christopher Dunn, Lynn Martin | Steven Williford I feel bad for Chelsea; she's exploring her feelings, and they're getting [unintentionally] hurt. But I love the support that Katherine has for her cousin. Bradley, you deserve one hundred times better than Deadbeat. So much more. Anita essentially tossing Tracy out... whew. She's done. DONE. Ouch... Chelsea hit the nerve with Katherine. How interesting... I feel like Tracy is becoming the mirror Anita has been avoiding while being a Dupree. What are these top secret things she's harbouring? I really hope Jessica's interest in Tyrell is genuine, because if it isn't, it might just destroy him. Back alley meetings? Your family? As if Bradley is not part of your family... Deadbeat, sit your ass down. Hey, Childbride, lower your damn voice. You're in the country club, not the country field where your ass belongs. And oh God, she's knocked up. Whew... here we go! Dante Greene, what control did this man have? But I appreciate that Anita and Tracy are uniting together; I pray that Sharon joins them soon. I love how easy Katherine and Tomas are with each other; it's smooth, it's natural and it's blooming in all the right ways. Hayley is about to battle the Dupree women for all she's worth. I am calling it right now. The unwavering support Vernon continues to provide to Anita is paramount; I adore them as the couple they are. Notes: Mike Manning (Bradley) continues to show up time and time again in scenes with Brandon Claybon (Deadbeat), who brings nothing to the table. There is an extreme lack of romantic chemistry between them. I'm wondering how different Dante Greene is going to be in comparison to Berry Gordy Jnr; we know the true history of Diana Ross and the Supremes, but how different will it be with Anita Williams and the Articulettes?
    • This episode is beyond excellent Could have waited on tge Trina Kai scenes  but regardless  great soap
    • Haha same! I didn't like her in the beginning, but over time, I've really grown to love to hate her as a villain.  I can't wait to listen to today's new episode later tonight! I've been waiting for the mom and dad (Crystal/Vincent) to have an interaction, so I'm happy to hear it's today.
    • I've always really been enjoying the show. It's very well produced and has so many soap stars in it. I was just listening to ep 7 on YoutTube and can say I'm hooked. There was an intense scene with Crystal Chappell and Vincent Irizarry about halfway through that was GOOD! Is it bad I kind of like Mina? I know she's supposed to be the main villian
    • This isn't a bad episode, but I'm finding myself not as engaged. Must be the lack of Eva and Leslie. No Nicole, Dani.
    • Yes!! I didn't realize it before, and had a busy weekend, so wasn't here much

Wow, what happened to AMC this week? Crashing from 8.4 to 6.6.. I mean, I know they used to go up and down much more than they do today, but this seems like a harsh drop (from 7th to 13th). And nice to see Y&R's first weeks
    • Why did they cut Chelsea coming out to her grandparents? We should have seen that
