Pierson Fode did a great job today selling the ridiculous "we were so in love" story.  The story itself is bad, but Fode is giving it his all, and I can't see faulting that.

Thorston Kaye is a great actor? Huh? Can't prove it by the crap acting he does in this roll. He's the very definition of phoning it in, and blaming the writing for his performance is lame.

The "RJ is an executive" stuff is so bad it actually makes me angry when he's on the screen. Just awful in every way.

Thorsten is horrible. HORRIBLE imo. Pierson is no worse than him.

I very much agree. I'm meh on the new Sally, preferring they would have given her a different first name instead of one that draws immediate comparisons to the great Darlene Conley. However, Patrika Darbo has been wonderful. I can believe her as a Spectra. And I do like the show trying to acknowledge/revive that family.

Since PD put on the red wig, she has totally rocked it. She is by far the best addition of the 5. I can't wait until she has scenes with the Forresters. CH is a distant second, but that's because it's ludicrous she is being written as a lovesick victim less than 3 months from being bold and brassy, which is what the show needed.

And good grief all the scenes with RJ/Coco - what an utter waste.

They need to get rid of Darlitta...or whatever her name is...gawd...is there a purpose for her? The name is just awful too.

RJ and Coco should be studying and not working all day long.....RJ has no schooling??

Generic soap heroine. I really dont see much difference between her now and any other young chick that falls in love with a man (Steffy, Hope, Nicole, etc...) Any and all fire she had is all gone and that didnt take long. She's known Thomas for 2 months and hasnt even gone on an official date. She SHOULD be choosing her career over him but instead they have her pining away like some lovesick fool and its disgusting. As evil and cuthroat as they are making her, Shirley is the only likeable Spectra bc she's practical and a realist and doesnt come across like the twit that her granddaughters are

Weak episode today - basically nothing worked:

1) RJ incessant - like 3 segments - that CoCo should return. Please

2) Brooke charting her own path and in same breath calls $B her 'stallion' and that she 'loves' him - a mere two weeks after she was ready to 'follow her destiny'

3) Having Sally 2 say on the same day as the betrayal she hopes she'll be able to have drinks with Steffy. Even tossing in namesakes. C'mon. Who wrote this?

Story question: Is CJ the only one outside of Spencer that knows $B wants property?

    • lol he sounds like he's speaking as Randy
    • Dani going to Bill's house is karma for how he messes with Martin. It is totally separate, but I can't feel sorry for Bill when he's constantly antagonizing a family he says he wants nothing to do with.
    • I understand what Lois did. I can see everyone's side, even if I don't agree with them.  That  proves it's a good story    Lois is far from ruined
    • Oh wow. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
    • The character of Lois has been ruined and trashed. There's no coming back from this mess. The current production and writing team have had no idea as to what made her special to begin with. She had a bit of moral fiber. Her treatment on the show is not atypical though, as most characters will get trashed, even beyond redemption, if it serves the current flavor of the month plotline.
    • No idea if this one had ever been up before or what the exact date is, but it's always good to look at/save the new AMC content while you can. If you're here for the drama there is some delirium with Adam and Erica about 10-12 minutes in.

    • I think there's a story to tell in someone who always believed in honesty and integrity being emmeshed in so many lies, but I agree that it wasn't very well laid out over the last few months. I think if I was more invested in Lois, I would have more of an issue than I do. Few can hold up against Jane. This is one of those cases where I think mentioning who already switched babies or have long-lost children would just take away from the fallout. If Lulu wants to drag Brook Lyn for hypocrisy there is probably still time (if the show bothers). I don't think anyone would claim these are the best GH episodes ever. It may be very lowered expectations at play. But I do think that scenes like yesterdays were some of Tracy's best, as she is a character who is often not allowed that type of moment.
    • You would think that, wouldn't you? I'd almost think they needed the money to get Robert Newman back, but they also had to know Larkin wasn't going to stick around and play second banana either. I don't get what the writers thought they were doing with Calla. Long liked using actors from Texas, but other than Alex/Bev McKinsey, the characters she wrote for them seemed blah.
    • Bo has a bad history with kids named Zach. (too soon?)
