WTF. Can someone explain how the hell this even happened? And why is Chloe back already? I thought Nadia was on maternity leave

I watched Monday and this Orpheus stuff is so annoying.  Ive really hated the past couple of months of Days and these Damsel in Distress storylines with the men needing to save the helpess women who keep getting kidnapped and terrorized. This is such an old fashion thing from the 80s which doesnt work today. The only other soap I watch is B&B and while it has its problems, Im glad they dont do this. Its been ridiculous the amount of times a woman has bee attacked and or kidnapped in the past several months with the white knight coming in to save the day. Come on Days. Stop relying on such a misogynistic trope

They showed us flashbacks of Chloe offering to be Daniel and Nicole's surrogate. The first transfer didn't work, but there were more embryos. So Chloe did transfers behind Nicole's back, so that if it didn't work Nicole wouldn't be so brokenhearted. The Doctor told Chloe the last transfer didn't work, but he was wrong. It's all completely ridiculous, but that's the story.

I thought the show was doing better overall until this story. Now it's taken a big step back in my opinion. Why retcon stories back to people who aren't even on anymore? It's bad enough when they do it just to tie it in to someone that actually is on the show now.

Are they really going to give Nicole a kid? I understand her backstory but I can't picture her being with a child...unless it is a way to write her out after as she leaves town to raise her child elsewhere (which i'm okay with).

I hope the show is done with the cloak-and-dagger stuff involving John, Patch, and even Eddie. I'm sorry but they look like fools at their ages running around town like some big time threats. With the police force in trouble (Roman, Rafe, and Hope) this would be a great time to introduce one or two (only!) new members to the police force and tie them into town. Add Paul to the force?

Daniel is the father?  Are you kidding me!!!???  He's been dead for almost a year and somehow the show still makes it about him.  Why is this character so obsessed over?  I expect Daniel's twin to show up any time now.

Yes, JJ said he cheated in Miami. If only he'd tell Gabi and it lead to him leaving town and off the screen.

Is this VIcky Bush with Chad the actress Beth Toussaint (sp?) that was on Dallas years ago as Bobby Ewing's girlfriend? I really liked her then but this character is such a cartoon-faux accent and all.

I don't see the chemistry with Nicole and Deimos. There's nothing there. I don't know why the show is pushing them. Bleh...

Two immediate changes I'd make to the show are cut the teens (except maybe using Theo occasionally) and do a large umbrella story somehow that brings everyone together. The show right now seems like a lot of the characters are on their own islands and episodes day-to-day almost feel like a completely different show at times. I would make the umbrella story something that brings out emotional drama, not some kind of fluff "disaster" plot.

    • I see both Lois and BLQs sides re Gio BLQ wanted her son to be happy. Lois wanted to make sure it happened, so she gave him to family. Selfish?  Yes, but I get it Gio was raised by a loving mother and extended family. Lois followed BLQ wishes Great acting by AS & RS

date: Tuesday, May 27 | Christopher Dunn, Lynn Martin | Steven Williford I feel bad for Chelsea; she's exploring her feelings, and they're getting [unintentionally] hurt. But I love the support that Katherine has for her cousin. Bradley, you deserve one hundred times better than Deadbeat. So much more. Anita essentially tossing Tracy out... whew. She's done. DONE. Ouch... Chelsea hit the nerve with Katherine. How interesting... I feel like Tracy is becoming the mirror Anita has been avoiding while being a Dupree. What are these top secret things she's harbouring? I really hope Jessica's interest in Tyrell is genuine, because if it isn't, it might just destroy him. Back alley meetings? Your family? As if Bradley is not part of your family... Deadbeat, sit your ass down. Hey, Childbride, lower your damn voice. You're in the country club, not the country field where your ass belongs. And oh God, she's knocked up. Whew... here we go! Dante Greene, what control did this man have? But I appreciate that Anita and Tracy are uniting together; I pray that Sharon joins them soon. I love how easy Katherine and Tomas are with each other; it's smooth, it's natural and it's blooming in all the right ways. Hayley is about to battle the Dupree women for all she's worth. I am calling it right now. The unwavering support Vernon continues to provide to Anita is paramount; I adore them as the couple they are. Notes: Mike Manning (Bradley) continues to show up time and time again in scenes with Brandon Claybon (Deadbeat), who brings nothing to the table. There is an extreme lack of romantic chemistry between them. I'm wondering how different Dante Greene is going to be in comparison to Berry Gordy Jnr; we know the true history of Diana Ross and the Supremes, but how different will it be with Anita Williams and the Articulettes?
    • This episode is beyond excellent Could have waited on tge Trina Kai scenes  but regardless  great soap
    • Haha same! I didn't like her in the beginning, but over time, I've really grown to love to hate her as a villain.  I can't wait to listen to today's new episode later tonight! I've been waiting for the mom and dad (Crystal/Vincent) to have an interaction, so I'm happy to hear it's today.
    • I've always really been enjoying the show. It's very well produced and has so many soap stars in it. I was just listening to ep 7 on YoutTube and can say I'm hooked. There was an intense scene with Crystal Chappell and Vincent Irizarry about halfway through that was GOOD! Is it bad I kind of like Mina? I know she's supposed to be the main villian
    • This isn't a bad episode, but I'm finding myself not as engaged. Must be the lack of Eva and Leslie. No Nicole, Dani.
    • Yes!! I didn't realize it before, and had a busy weekend, so wasn't here much

Wow, what happened to AMC this week? Crashing from 8.4 to 6.6.. I mean, I know they used to go up and down much more than they do today, but this seems like a harsh drop (from 7th to 13th). And nice to see Y&R's first weeks
    • Why did they cut Chelsea coming out to her grandparents? We should have seen that
