Members Soapsuds Posted June 15, 2015 Members Share Posted June 15, 2015 I wasn't even referring to that story…I was more thinking about Rick turning nasty and the takeover at Forrester…The Maya story didn't do squat in the ratings…and that was more about Maya than Rick considering he didnt even react to the news. The ratings were on a role when Rick took over Forrester then we got more Brooke and her men…and Maya's story and ratings lost all steam. Now we have more Liam…blah….boring. Even Brad Bell credited that triangle for the great numbers, and you rarely see a HW/EP credit a certain group of characters for the ratings. At first, they didn't even realize what they had because the story was moving fast, but they readjusted (no surprise this directly resulted in Nick/Jackie/Owen, etc. sent packing). They are trying to recreate it with Steffy/Liam/Ivy, but, unfortunately, AB hasn't been given decent material to make The Vine memorable. It's not her fault, but she's no KM.
