Brenda's last return was underwhelming. I'm not expecting much from this return either. Ron will tarnish her like he's done other GH legends too.

Guza wanted Dante and her to have had a romantic relationship. All she wanted was to reunite with Sonny. Instead we got a month of her surrounded by new characters then she was isolated once she got to Port Charles. The story was a flop for many reasons. The show itself was in better shape during her previous return. It was a mess during the last year she was on contract under JFP/Guza.

I did like The Balkan, but even that fell apart and didn't amount to anything.

I enjoyed her last return. She was fun, and she still had a spontaneity and visceral authenticity that almost everything in Ron's writing and Frank's producing lacks. They can't tell VM nothing, so she and Brenda are just a force of nature.

She looks damn good in the photo. Dayum.

I hope she goes home to her bedroom at the Q's. Watch Sonny's head spin at her living with Michael.

I'd be excited if the veteran actress returning were Rachel Ames (Audrey) or Denis Alexander (Lesley) or Genie Francis (Laura--who is desperately needed to help make this Fluke nonsense palatable).
