I think it was Vee (?) who said he thought they had wanted Ian out for years and things just kept stopping it.

Duke returning was a flop. Hopefully, they put in bullet in him for good this time.

I feel bad for Ian b/c I like him as a person but Duke is a bore.

Maybe B&B will bring him back as James--one of the two daytimes roles I actually liked James in [Caleb being the other].

Yikes. I can't say Duke is a strong asset to the show in any way right now but it looks really bad to piss off Anna/Duke fans after bringing him back, let alone firing another vet (though he was technically not "hired" since he's recurring) while adding incessant, countless newbies.

He is recurring and doesnt cost much to the show. This out wont save GH any money. Ughh. Sad to see a fan fave ousted like this.
