TBH, it was totally worth it to me for 1) the Susan appearance and 2) having Kristen around for the fallout of EJ's death. Everything else is just sorta noise.

I do think the flaw in this return was that, story-wise, it's been treated as temporary. She's been around for a long time, but very little has happened, because the show isn't committing to any future story for Kristen -- just resolving and playing on what's there. Aside from the two things noted above, Eileen Davidson could have shot three episodes' worth of material, and we'd have gotten the same general story use out of Kristen (she brings John out of the coma and thus avoids charges for Eric's rape). Having her sort of linger around for three months not doing much has been most of the problem.

Will doesn't want to have a boring life... too late, you're already boring as f-ck!

Love these Nicole and Sami scenes. Can Nicole please go back to any of those hairstyles she had in the flashbacks?

How long can they possibly drag out this stuff with Paige finding out about Jack/Kayla?

Is Sami not even going to talk to Lucas about taking Allie with her?

My thoughts on the current Will & Sonny story

Ok Will has been an ass but Sonny has been a hypocrite about the Chad article. He was ok at first. Then after Wilson saw Chad for the first time after the Ben fight, Will wasnt gonna write it but Sonny told him you should. That rang very personal to me as Sonny was getting back at Chad for coming in & trying to make changes at TBD. But then after EJ dies, Sonny assumes the article is off & gets mad that Will is still working on it. Then Sonny leaps to the conclusion that will just wants fame & money. But then realizes Chad okayed the article and says oh its gonna be great. Your a great writer. If I were Will Id be upset to & maybe wonder what Sonny really thought about his career.

Also what is with Sonny saying he hasnt seen Will in a while to Abby. EJ just died like 3 days ago in salem time & they both spent the day with her & the kids. Then Sonny gets upset that Will cant just go to lunch cause he has to work. When was the last time Sonny worked at TBD on screen? He is never there. T & Ben do more there than the owners do. I expect Will to say were going to LA and Sonny to say he cant because of the club. Why would that stop him? He is never there

Guy is off screeen for a month but in Salem that is two weeks so if Sonny cheats that will destroy that character in my eyes

I agree with you on all fronts. I think Will and Sonny both have some valid points, but I feel more for Sonny. What a slap in Sonny's face to hear Will say he's too young to be married with a kid. Sure, it's true, but he could have thought of that a little sooner. Sonny is spending his time taking care of Will's kid and Will has the nerve to call their life boring. What!?

    • This better be something, because as I said, so far it's just cliches and stereotypes -- the story we've heard a thousand times about the homeless person who doesn't want a home and prefers to live on the streets.
    • @rsclassicfanforever thank you very much for the recent uploads of season 13 containing some episodes that were skipped or glitchy on YouTube!  I had a look at 3172 though and there is no audio for most of it? Would you have a copy with complete audio? Fingers crossed! Thanks again!

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
    • Yassss....come on Maurice and Brandon...give us nothing!!! Wow, their need to develop their craft shone like a blinding light this episode. Brandon in his Martin and Smitty scenes sounded like he was reading and the facial expressions were giving Disney Channel. He did much better against Maurice in the Martin v Ted scenes. Now, Teddd-dyy (Dana's voice) was just flat. I watched the episode just now after reading the comment on here that Maurice needs to stop swaying, and now I can't unsee it. Has it really been this bad all along?  Ambyr carries. I don't need to say anymore. I am kind of excited to see this Kat/Tomas/Eva stuff play out.  Bill is such a dick to Dani. Like that's the mother of your children that you cheated on with your daughter's best friend but you look to take those low blows. Lord! When he said that thing about it being obvious he didn't care about Dani anymore since he was the one that walked out...that was cold. I even felt for Dani. Bill definitely is all over the spectrum. You can see a villain possibly surfacing, but you also see this great father. The elder Duprees move a little funny. I'm wondering what that is all about. Are they just overly protective matriarch and patriarch because they think it's what's best for their family, or are they afraid their secrets will come out or there's something more sinister there. Why would Vernon want to keep that information from Martin?  I hope something interesting comes out of this June stuff, but as of right now, I'm not too invested. It's not helping my interest on Naomi or Jacob either. However, tge actress playing Naomi has comes a long way from day one.
