Members Soapsuds
This is the Bell's fault for letting their dad's legacy go to dog s hit!!
Members bluejeanbaby3
Sounded to me like JFP went around Kent and McDaniel and went to Nina Tassler's best friend, Pratt's agent. IOW, JFP didn't want old school Y&R and made sure it wouldn't happen...?
Members cassadine1991
Yeah, MAB surely made sure of that
Members DaytimeFan
They don't own the majority of the show, they lost the cooperation of Sony after MAB.
Members Soapsuds
It shouldn't have happened....sigh...this show has been dead for many years anyways....Pratt is just coming in to pull the plug.

Members DaytimeFan
Honestly, Y&R had a bullseye on it once Bill Bell died. Y&R died with John Abbott in 2006.
Members wingwalker
I wonder why the Bells never tried to buy out Sony's share in the show and own it out right (maybe they have and Sony refuses to sell). That to me seems the most logical and best option for them if they want to regain control of the show.
Members titan1978
JFP doesn't want anyone that doesn't share her vision. Her vision. Not what is best for the show. She could care less about the show. It's HER show. I was just rereading Toups interview with Nancy Curlee. She claims JFP loves and respects good writing. I have not seen that since she took over OLTL.
Members allmc2008
What all does Sony own? From my understanding the Bells own the characters. If so, could they just make a new show?
Members cassadine1991
SONY also owns Days

Members Vee
They are not going to make a new show. But of course you knew that.
