Oh you're right. But I just don't see why NOW is the time RC wants to be real.

Maybe she's faking it. Oh lawd, now that I've said that, she probably is.

Yes.

I don't really like that Nina is in a wheelchair. I pictured her ass strutting in in some hot red heels or something, not scooting in like a life alert commercial.

Im glad she is in a wheelchair bc when I first saw the previews I was ready to come down on RC bc it would make no sense that she was walking

ETA: Yeah what Marceline said

Far be it for me to compliment RC but I'm glad they have her in a wheelchair. It's at least a nod to reality. Someone who's been in a coma for decades would have absolutely no muscle tone. She wouldn't even be able to swallow or breathe well on her own. Obviously the chair is to make her look frail but like said it's a nod toward reality. Let's be supportive. I'm sure she be strutting around town in high heels and black lace in another week. tongue.png

the chair also makes it easier for her to roll into traffic

Teresa was really good today. Damn, these writers are such sadistic [!@#$%^&*] to have her play this storyline while she's pregnant.

I ain't seen it yet. Is that baby actually dead dead or what? I won't believe it til it's been in the ground a week, sorry to say.

I think Ron hoped this would make fans flock that much more to Sabrina, but it doesn't do that for me - it makes me feel bad for Teresa Castillo. OLTL (under another regime) made Kassie DePaiva play something very similar when she had a difficult RL pregnancy and it was a shitty thing to do then, too. But it doesn't make me want more Sabrina simply by virtue of how they're putting the poor actress through the wringer. And I can't imagine why, if death is the end result, they found it necessary to (according to RC) rewrite their story plans to accommodate the actress's pregnancy.

I don't agree with this at all. You have to be able to act under any circumstance. Pregnancy already puts a dent in certain SLs and stories, not even moRon's schlock, should be changed because a woman is with child.

Of course, the always negative whiners are on here. Endlessly. This board doesn't affect the ratings and you do know that the execs, writers and ABC would love it if all you complainers stop watching. They couldn't care less!

I happen to think that GH was outstanding today! The performances by Theresa Castillo and Jason Thompson were beyond Emmy worthy. A true heartbreak. GH is such a good show. Carry on, Frank and Ron. Looking forward to tomorrow!!! GH had their highest May viewership in 7 years, so people are obviously watching. I commend the producers, writers and actors.

No worse than when Hunter Tylo lost her son and then they killed of Phoebe a month later.

An unfortunate life event that happened to coincide with a story already in the works. Hunter could have asked for a temp recast until she was ready.

Add me to the refugee list. Can't believe Duck is we...clouds! Hey there! This isn't the place to voice my opinion on that rabid dog pound aka SOC, so I won't.

Yep. I used to use the W.A.C. name here but I had Toups change it about a year ago. And, I'm Ryan Chamberlain on DD.

SOC is a shithole indeed.

So, Andrea (I believe that's your real name...correct me if I'm wrong.) How's it going?

I was similarly banned. Ten days. For stating my opinion. On a soap opinion board. Which is redonk. So, I sent them an email and told them that I wouldn't be back, and started auditioning other places. Then, days later I got accused of making an "alternate disruptive account" that I didn't make, so someone has been eating the Miscavige BLTs over there. They don't care. As far as they are concerned, their policies are fine, so as far as I'm concerned, I'm leaving and telling the fun posters where I'll be hanging. wink.png

I didn't know you got banned. Damn, that's crazy. I actually did make an alt account after I got permabanned for...Get this. Giving out my twitter address to a friend who was leaving. What the hell? I'm actually allowed to have my Twitter address in my sig on here and on DD. And, able to give my honest opinion on something. That's what I love about here and Daytime Dish.

I don't like that they made her act out the baby dying while she's pregnant in real life either. Yes she's an actress and has to do her job but that seems especially cruel and unnecessary.

I agree that it's a kind of crappy thing to do to the actress (though she delivered a healthy baby despite it and congrats to her), but it certainly didn't help her crying seem more heartfelt, which sucks for me as a viewer, but oh well, I get more work done between 2 and 3pm. And no, the baby didn't die. At the end of the episode they tried to pull a Tony Jones/ BJ's Heart listening with Sabrina and baby Towel, and the baby's heart sounded as resilient as an ox in its prime so I think it could live after all....which....yawn either way for me.

I know you got banned and I couldn't' figure out why, because it's not like you ever trolled the boards or anything. You were one of the nice ones. I'm already loving it here. They're nuts. What insane policy could that have violated?

It was pretty harsh. But, I think they did it to give her material that was powerful. But, IMO. It didn't work. She was still weak in my opinion. Hate to say it. But, she was.
