February 19, 201411 yr Member Guy Wilson just isn't cutting it as Will. He is so bland and he and Sonny are even more boring than ever before. Daniel not wanting JJ to tell Jen the truth...what contrived BS. Speaking of which I HATE that JJ and Daniel are pretty much in bed with each other. JJ was a much better character when he was hating him This Liam character is so boring. Just can him Glad EJ and Sami are back together but man is sh-t gonna hit the fan
February 19, 201411 yr Member WilSon needs an obstacle. Will or Sonny (preferably Will) need to have some sort of affair
February 19, 201411 yr Member WilSon needs an obstacle. Will or Sonny (preferably Will) need to have some sort of affair Im over a third person coming in crap. There are other ways and I feel Chris Lorianne & Gary can find it but realistically they will probably have Wilson in semi major stories til Freddie's deal ends April 2015 then write them both out
February 19, 201411 yr Member The JJ/Daniel stuff is the worst. Soon he's going to start actively plotting to get Dannifer to reunite ugh
February 19, 201411 yr Member WilSon needs an obstacle. Will or Sonny (preferably Will) need to have some sort of affair They DO need some sort of affair and it ALWAYS cracks me up, when fans of fictional gay pairings say that "they are sick of third party's being added to a storyline and that there can be other ways of adding drama to that pairing." Which usually results in nothing being done to add drama to the pairing and them being written out of the show and the outrage over those characters being "ill-used, not written for and wasted". You cannot say you want fictional same-sex pairings being treated like opposite sex pairings, yet draw a line about exactly how they're being given drama. It's being hypocritical and not really wanting those characters to be treated in the same way. What other ways can drama be added, without a third party being an enticement to one of those characters? When that has always been the case for other opposite sex pairings. DAYS even had Carrie (for a moment) wanting Rafe, her sister's husband, while she's still married to Austin. Yes, it wasn't liked by the audience at all, but there was a willingness to go there with those characters. Edited February 19, 201411 yr by difficultdiva
February 19, 201411 yr Member Exactly and having an affair doesn't always involve sex, though it's a main part of it I think Will should be the one cheating since for the past couple of years every other guy has panted over Sonny
February 19, 201411 yr Member This biggest and worst issue with this show is and has been for yearssssss that the majority of the characters are boring or just plain suck. nd it is disappointing that JJ is now definitely in both of those categories. Edited February 19, 201411 yr by Days22
February 19, 201411 yr Member Im just sick of characters cheating period. There are other ways to create strife in a couple gay straight or otherwise rather than bringing a third party in
February 19, 201411 yr Member Im just sick of characters cheating period. There are other ways to create strife in a couple gay straight or otherwise rather than bringing a third party in John, you may be sick of cheating trope in soaps, but that has always been a staple of this genre. Even in radio programs. You keep saying that there are other ways to create strife, but even you believe that there's nothing that will be done during the remaining months of Freddie's current contract with the soap. It seems like viewers who don't want or like cheating storylines would rather have these characters exit and keep the OTL/OTP fantasy alive (in their minds) over seeing these characters be given storylines that will jeopardize that fantasy onscreen. Let's just be honest about it.

DAYS even had Carrie (for a moment) wanting Rafe, her sister's husband, while she's still married to Austin. Yes, it wasn't liked by the audience at all, but there was a willingness to go there with those characters. The problem is that adding a third party often doesn't bring more drama. On OLTL, it led to a story saying that a gay man should use his beating to keep a boyfriend. The story was dropped and the actors were all fired. On ATWT, it led to various nonsensical stories for Luke and Noah. It is currently doing absolutely nothing to bring drama on GH, and just seems forced and rushed, with key actors having less than no chemistry. There are ways to write relationships and triangles but throwing a third person in for some prefab conflict often fails. As for Guy Wilson, it's hard to believe anyone could be duller than Chandler Massey. Edited February 19, 201411 yr by DRW50
February 19, 201411 yr Member They haven't really had any major scenes yet but it doesn't seem like Guy Wilson has any chemistry with Bryan or Ali
February 20, 201411 yr Member Sami is giddy over her upcoming wedding. Oh boy, weddings are cursed in this town! Its been a long while since one happened without some drama. You just know she's gonna find out about EJ's affair at the altar Oh boy to Abby's skank ass making a play for EJ. Girl, sit your ass down! Marlena was being shady as hell to Nicole....loved it!

Let's just be honest about it. Personally I feel Days is gonna have Wilson marry then maybe something will happen when Gabi exits that could give them story. Maybe custody of Ari. who knows. i just dont see them doing a triangle since they didnt do squat with Brian or Brent. Edited February 20, 201411 yr by John
February 20, 201411 yr Member I personally am seeing the complete opposite with Guy in the role, honestly. He's far better and more interesting to me than Chandler, who I couldn't want to see gone by end.
