Isnt she on contract with YR? Does that mean she will do both show?

This is AMAZING news! I want Kristen to return with a baby in tow as well!!! ED is amazing! Even if its for a short 3month stint or so - I can't wait to see ED back on our screens!!!

And no, ED is not currently on contract with Y&R. She appeared in a couple episodes at the end of 2014.. but they were guest appearances.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. ED was initially "traded" to "save" DAYS. She chose to cut back and loves working on Y&R's schedule, but I never got the impression that she is ready to go back to Y&R for a full blown storyline. This is just a 3-month gig. Who knows she may be airing on Y&R at the same time as DAYS, just like last October/November.

Please, no one needs Brenda Eppersons Ashley-lite on Y&R. If they need Ashley, they can just ask Eileen to make cameos. Ashley isn't needed full time right now.

Are we sure its short term?

I second this... where is this info coming from that this is a "3 month stint" ?? That may be the truth.. but I have not seen that confirmed or denied anywhere. If someone knows that this is for sure a short term stint can you reference your source? Thanks

I always got the impression that she considered Y&R her career and DAYS her side gig. No idea why because she has been better and more iconic on DAYS.

If she comes back with a child, I wonder if it will be Brady's or if they will tease Eric even it seemed like that was too far away to be plausible. The show REALLY should have teased a pregnancy in her final episode. I really wanted to see her make one last phone call to someone and her last scene be her rubbing her belly when she hung up
