To be fair, Brad Bell probably doesn't know either.

I wondered when she would mention her damn bar, but no need - she put up a photo.

I wonder if he will be the only actor to play two soap roles where his character romances a woman with serious heart problems.

At least he seems to have the right attitude. I get the feeling he isn't expecting to stay long.

He doesn't look impressed with B&B. Someone should tell him that B&B is an anthology series where a group of eight people play generic soapy stories.

I somehow got the feeling that he thinks that the nu-Ridge hasn't worked out very well. Ridge as a thinker would be something new

The show made two very interesting choices in replacing RM over the years though. Lane Davies and now TK. Perhaps TPTB would like to see Ridge as the thinker :)

I appreciate the self depreciating humor. Personally, I get why this show would be hard for any actor to work on. That's why I've always given the women of B&B mad props. I think it's one of the most outlandish soaps that has ever existed and on top of that, the cast is small, so each actor has to play even more outlandish material and sell it. Sure, they get paid a lot of money to do that, so I'm not crying any tears for them, but I bet it could be demoralizing for people who want to take the work seriously.

You know what? It's only been one episode, throughout most of which we never actually saw Ridge's face, just the speedo fondling. And when we did, TK delivered only one line of dialogue. Now, I have always believed that Ronn Moss *IS* Ridge, body and healing-crystals soul. That is because Ridge took on lots of Ronn facets like the scarves and whatnot. But RM was obviously over the part and had been phoning it in for a couple centuries. I am not against seeing what TK can bring to the table with this role. Maybe it will be fun. No doubt it will bring out a whole different side to Ridge, a character which has always been a blank cipher on this show, depository for all these women's dreams and fantasies. At worst, it will be can't-miss, car-crash TV. Personally, I need more than one line of dialogue to judge. In fact, he needs a couple of weeks, if not more. And as Lynsey Godfrey proved, actors can be rescued from the abyss by a shift in character direction.

    • Yeah, not sure why Jack and Jen didn’t rush to Marlena - or even Carrie - to offer their condolences. A few flashbacks would've been a nice touch too. Instead, we got a whole episode of them talking about Chad and Abby? Come on. On the bright side, I loved Anna’s scenes with Marlena and Carrie - sweet and heartfelt, felt like a real 80s throwback.
    • Martin and Smitty were designed to avoid the stereotype of gay men sleeping around (which to an extent is true). If you recall Martin had a line about them not being open when Chelsea came to talk to him. The producers are walking a very fine line right now and it might not be popular to say but I can understand it. Establishing enough footing to ward off complaints will let them showcase gay characters more openly later.
    • The week was decent. They have started to rotate their stories and finally got a rhythm going. I disagree about them allowing every character to have a moment to shine though. Nicole really hasn't been given anything to do. I completely agree with all this. I adore Doug and hope he makes it through.

    • There was the one appearance in '96, but otherwise, that's correct as far as I know.

Question for the B&B group: I see @rsclassicfanforever has uploaded multiple seasons from Videoland  (in the folders that are to be put away). They are huge folders and difficult to download so I started breaking them down into months but I realized they are by season so for example, Season 4 spans from March 1990 to March 1991. Now I'm wondering where to actually place them, since we have the Full Episodes section divided by year, not seasons. And most of these seasons we already have in full, so these are duplicates. Not sure if it's necessary to keep the older versions. I could just make another new section for Seasons, so the main folders would be "Behind the Scenes and Interviews," "Clips," "Full Episodes," "Full Seasons," "Music CDs," and "photo archive Marquise" but I'm not sure that really makes sense. Also wondering since we have almost every full episode now if "Clips" can be deleted in its entirety, as it's nearly 300GB.
    • CBS moving Murder, She Wrote from Sunday to Thursday was straight up sabotage. Les Moonves knew exactly what he was doing.
    • I sure hope you’re right. The lack of sets is maddening!
