I am so happy that Liz has a new hobby - testifying in court all the time about everyone she knows - this was her second trial within the same day, right?

Olivia has a hobby as well. Crying in public places.

I loved the verdict for Georgie's custody. This turned out to be an interesting story, something I didn't expect and I could see where each of the characters was coming for. It could have been a classic. So happy for Spinelli and his lookalike daughter :)

Leave it to Felix to ruin every scene. The actor could work as a nerdy gay type, but his attempts to act like a queen are a disaster.

This week RH is portraying Franco as BH 90210's Dylan McKay, the teen rebel who gets no love from his parents. The character is too old and has been through too much to act like a sad teen because Dad doesn't want him in his life.

Ava's last scene reminded me of Marlena in 1995. wub.png She looked gorgeous btw. And so did Savrina, whom I no longer hate for some reason.

Agreed! It looks like Bex was going for a bob but didn't fully commit. It's very unbecoming!

Now while we are on the topic of disastrous hair! Robin and Liv! The lowlights are bad enough, but Robin's hair looks like it was flat ironed with Crisco and Lisa Lo really needs to get rid of those god awful extensions! Both need to sit in the chair(s) of whomever does LW and Teresa. LW's bob is gorgeous to complement the wonderful hair she was blessed with. And Teresa shows EVERYDAY that you can have long thick/full hair and have it look good. Not just a mess resting on your shoulders. Her hair is just beautiful! Ellie is another one with beautiful hair, and all it has to do is just sit there.

Elsa, I don't think FrankenTodd is upset that Scotty wants nothing to do with him. I think it was more along the lines that he won't help him protect Carly. He was asking a favor from son to father and was upset that he couldn't even get that. I have a feeling this will come back to bit Scotty really good!

The custody verdict was everything! I wanted Maxie to lose so much more than I needed Lulu to win.

The trial? Kaka was on yesterday becauzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz? And there were at least 5 times Diane should have objected but didn't. Ugh!

So tired of AJ being such a punk! To think he may have killed Connie is one thing, but to actually say it in court? Ugh again!

Scotty needs bigger suits so that he won't look so short. And call me nuts, but I am looking forward to his relationship with FrankenTodd. I'm sure I'll be disappointed, but I am trying here.

Not sure why we needed an entire hour of Diane and Carlos, but what's done is done! Oh, and Ava did it. Wow! What a twist - sh!tting sarcasm here :(

The hair and makeup dept. needs to go, period. GL in Peapack had better hair. Liz looked like an unkempt haystack yesterday. 75% of the time, that's how everyone looks---Alexis, Carly, Britt, Lucy and Sam. There were times this summer I wanted to rip those stupid tiny braids Sam was wearing right off her head. She looked like a frakkin' four year old.

Someone really needs to sit down and make and effort to give those characters individual looks.

I did kind of LOL when cryptkeeper Luke brandished a gun walking into Wyndemere. IDK, but I just have no desire to see this man on adventures anymore.

Obrecht and Duke was somewhat more of the same but I liked it. Faison/Nikolas involved is always a plus.

Mac/Patrick was nice. I enjoyed Robin and Faison going back and forth.

Sabrina/Felix ... meh, but I got through them. She whines about her dress or something.

Maybe I was just thankful Robin was FINALLY seen. I like they're still building to her seeing Anna though, IMO.

    • 5-12   Well, as much as i've been enjoying the highs of BTG, I guess I should try to play catch up on my other soaps...lol.   I actually liked this episode. But I guess it could be because I felt there was a lot going on. Bill and Liam's talk. Luna attempting them inroads with Finn. Steffy comforting Hope over Liam. Sheila thanking Bill for helping Luna. Even a decent cliffhanger with Steffy walking in on Luna and Finn.   I know I said it before, but I don't care for the Liam storyline, but the acting has been good.
    • I enjoyed Santa Barbara from the beginning. Mainly because it was so fresh and different than the P&G soaps I was used to watching.  But there is no denying that it did not hit its stride until 1985. The writing, casting and production all finally came together. Unfortunately backstage drama then slowly destroyed the show and for me from 1988 onward it was a completely different show than the one I was a fan of.
    • Oh, really? That explains why the reveal episodes...the majority of which Zimmerman did the breakdowns for...hit perfectly. Cool! I really loved that. Background music and all.
    • I guess I should appreciate Clifton's devotion to his craft, but this comes off as so pretentious. Nothing about Liam's story (or B&B, for that matter) is high art.
    • To me the product placement normalizes these folks. Your bound to see household products around no matter how immaculate someone's house may be.  I was just thinking about her as Yvonne on AMC. Yeah, would love to see her.
    • There's also the soap opera conundrum: once characters get everything they want, they tend to stagnate. Nola got everything she wanted. One of the things that was really interesting about her was that tremendous need for things out of her grasp. Once that was resolved, there wasn't much left for her to play. Maybe Long could have found something to replace that, but since she wasn't created by Long, she probably preferred to focus on the needy character she created: Reva. They were still significant stockholders. They could have punched back. Vanessa forced to team with the brother she resents. I can see it working.
    • She could have easily tied them into the Cottage Mystery...(they could have easily explained going on adventures with Bea, babysitting) The house that Tony and Annabelle lived in could have been the coachhouse of the property that Qualo and Henry live in, or at the very least Nola would have been totally in on ghosts and secrets of her brother's house. But they kind of just sat around for months.  The clip of Van and Billy's impromptu wedding shows how sidelined Nola and Quint became...Nola isn't even around butting in on them getting married, its all Reva (though it is a more interesting Reva where Mindy and her or going at it and insulting each other..THAT Reva was fun.)  I loved it when those two would go at it. Somehow they could have resurrected that antogonistic relationship and not have Billy worshing at the throne of Reva.  When they brought JC back on recurring they should have had him at least warn Annie about Jeva pulling her down..."Darlin' I love my brother, but when he has ole Reva in his sites he will drop any woman to try to win her back...and then he will get bored with her...she's like booze is to me and you...he hates it but he needs it..get out while you can!"
    • It's been brought up that Empty Nest was a time slot hit. Here's Empty Nest schedule and seasonal rating in comparison to The Golden Girls. 1988/89: The Golden Girls Saturday 9 pm, 6th. Empty Nest Saturday 9:30 pm, 7th. 1991/92: The Golden Girls Saturday 8 pm, 30th (final season).
