For all we know, Michelle could very be leaving to pursue something else, so it's a possibility that she didn't give the show a chance to keep her.

Maybe she feels, like some of us do, that the character has run its course and needs a break.

Though, her being an actress pushing 50 with an unconventional look, I don't think her phone is going to ringing off the hook with primetime and film offers.

MS leaving is not a PR nightmare. She left before the show was just fine. Avery has already taken over her sceentime.

I'm a Michelle Stafford fan and I assure you I am not crazy. The Phick/Phonan fans? Yes, most of them are crazy. But some of us actually appreciate Michelle's talents and recognize the importance of her and her character to the show, regardless of pairings.

LOL! I have to admit that I never took the spitting thing seriously. Stafford and Rowell are both loons although Stafford is worse.

They are both quite quirky, although I like them both as actors. The story the actor who plays Murphy tells about being intimidated by a Scientologist at work is disturbing. I guess we don't know exactly who he is talking about, but it has always made me wonder.
