I'm watching it now, but have an appointment, so I'll have to watch the rest later.

Brooke:

"Are you in a hurry or trying out for Chippendales?"

I laughed.

I liked that too.

I also loved the scene between Binks/Miranda when Hunter walked in and Miranda told her to "Leave now before he comes back!"

What about AJ asking Dixie if she went to the cemetery, she sure wouldn't be that broken up over KWAK being dead lol. Even if Tad left town, she'd be upset, but she's literally acting like someone died

No she wouldn't. But maybe at the party KWAK jumped in front of Dixie as a bullet was coming towards her and KWAK ended up dead. So that's why Dixie feels guilty. Or maybe Marissa jumped in front of Dixie.

AMC is too slow moving, too geared toward old soap tropes, and skews too young with its youth scene. Not to mention, how many times can characters repeat themselves. It seems that every time Petey introduces himself, he has to do the whole Stanford dropout bit. And Angie can't stop repeating herself about her granddaughter.

I think I'm out with AMC. It's still as stale and unchanged as it was when it ended. I don't think OLTL is perfect but it's built for the 21st Century and though some people believe in simpler, happier times, that's just a trick of nostalgia and AMC isn't tricking me very well a couple of episodes in. I'm giving it the rest of the week but I don't think it's going to hold my attention beyond that.

I give AMC a long leash because it is literally the second day and they have basically totally rebuilt the canvas. It's almost entirely exposition for the moment, but that will change. Most of it I like a lot.

I keep pinching myself cause it's hard to believe we're getting a Rylee free AMC, never ever ever thought that would happen

Agreed. AMC is rebuilding. I didn't expect it to be great right away and since it was just relaunched it makes sense that its heavy on exposition right now.

My fave part of the episode   LMAO

I'm waiting for Bianca to fall apart. She just seems so unhappy.

I'm wondering are Hunter & AJ playing on the same sports team at school?

AMC was first up in production and from Ginger Smith's comments, it was pretty much a rushed job in terms of sets, calling actors, finding writers, etc. We definitely haven't seen the best they can offer yet. I'm also thinking back to Thorsten Kaye's comment about wanting the fans to bear with them as they adjust or something like that.

Thats right. AMC did not have as much time as OLTL to set up production and write/edit scripts. IIRC They started five weeks before OLTL.

I agree with this entirely. Since I am a dedicated and loyal Darnell and Debbi supporter, I love the show and change takes time. 2 episodes and people are rushing to judgement prematurely.

I can definitely feel MM's writing. It's way too early to judge if that's a good thing or not.

Honestly what People don't realize Is how much harder it was to get all my children up and going over oltl . Oltl relatively easy because most of the actors live on the east coast and they left with much better spirits. Amc ginger smith had to really beg people to come a lot of people were burned by abc and what they did with the show and 2 months before they had no sets or actors.

Ohh AJ's on the soccer team. Adorable!

Miranda reminded me so much of her Mom's Mother Erica when Hunter was asking her out, especially when she nervously tugged her hair back. Imma be done when she does a random hair fluff...

Lol when Pete asked Heather how she keeps up w/her Facebook friend feed she said she "blocks the losers" Damn...

Heather: "Oh NO! If I get another detention, no more Honey Boo Boo for a month!" Wth?? laugh.png

Jesse's "huh.png ...All of 'em!" line was hilarious.

Yes it is! I love love love that AMC had to rebuild itself. I am also pleased at how they have rebuilt themselves. Parallells to Erica/Mona in Miranda/Bianca, Pete/Celia a likely nod/play on Nina/Cliff. I am so glad that Agnes was involved. The set up is great.
