AMC letting Melissa Egan go was a terrible, terrible showkilling mistake - and she's horribly boring on Y&R, playing the bland pre-crazy version of Annie by another name. But Annie is the only element in that equation that I cared about. Emma and Ryan, not at all.

There's no way they teased Tad and used MEK's voice if they aren't going to use him and he's not going to show up. He recorded the lines himself. It's not really a debate.

Agreed PP may not always make the smartest moves but there is no way in hell Ginger Smith is going to dangle mEK out there for fans who have been asking for him all season if she knew they couldn't follow through. She's no fool & wouldn't invite that kind of wrath.

And like Vee said, they used MEK's voice and credited him. he may not be in ep 1 of S2 but I do believe he's on the way.

I hope they film an entire season (and hopefully a good amount of episodes) before releasing it. I also hope they do the same for OLTL, but we'll see.

Given that AMC had no scripts approved that could be why while OLTL did have approved scripts for s2. Maybe they are shooting the full season of AMC at once

There had been some scuttlebutt before about the shows possibly not returning til January.

I don't care when AMC (or OLTL) come back so long as they take their time and do it right. There really was no time for Season 1. OLTL in particular needed more.

Yep. Besides given the fact that two actresses are in an advanced state of pregnancy the extra lead time is probably a good thing.

Ha! We were thinking the same thing. ER said on MORE that she was 5 months pregnant so she's definitely out. I think PG is due in November so she's out too.
