April 10, 201213 yr Member I guess the guessing game is on for phase 2 of firings at DOOL. I would not be surprised to see James Reynolds, Peggy McKay, and Bryan Datillo out.
April 10, 201213 yr Member Ouch. Sarah Brown @sarahjoybrown Don't know if it's true, but, who ever leaked that story should consider that no one wants to find out they have lost their job via Twitter
April 10, 201213 yr Member Hopefully they don't fire all the returnees and some people like Gabby, Daniel, etc get the boot.
April 10, 201213 yr Member This is why Days isn't going to make it. They try to retool the show about every 6 months or so it seems. Kinda ridiculous if you ask me.
April 10, 201213 yr Member Missy reeves need to go. Jennifer Rose has been absent from Days with her even back. For once it would be nice to see Matt Ashford get a chance without Jennifer/MR around.
April 10, 201213 yr Author Member Missy reeves need to go. Jennifer Rose has been absent from Days with her even back. For once it would be nice to see Matt Ashford get a chance without Jennifer/MR around. Yep, this is why I can't even when people say Jack/MA held back Jenn/MR cause she isn't the one who's been fired like 10 billion times, he's always sacrificed for her, Jack's constantly thrown under the bus for Jennifer
April 10, 201213 yr Member Christie Clark and Matt Ashford get fired but dry ass Melissa Reeves and Shawn Christian get to stick around? WHAT THE HELL Ugh, everytime I get back in to DAYS they fire the main people keeping me interested. Christie has turned all the sh!t they've gave her into gold, and you can't buy the history and chemistry her, Dee Hall, and Ali Sweeney have brought to their scenes.
April 10, 201213 yr Member I think that the Jack pairing has stifled opportunities for the character of Jen to grow. LOL I'd say its the other way around.
April 10, 201213 yr Member Thats beyond F-d up LOL I'd say its the other way around. for real. Jennifer was on the show for almost a full year without Jack and he cant be blamed for her being such an awful bore for that year Edited April 10, 201213 yr by Cheap21
April 10, 201213 yr Member Classy move DAYS. I couldn't imagine finding out you lost your job over Twitter. It is pretty tacky, but Louise Sorel was told in person (by Gary Tomlin) and she also felt that was unprofessional, IIRC. I guess the real problem is Corday doesn't seem to want to do this himself.
April 10, 201213 yr Member Kinda pissed about Christie and Matt Carrie and Jack are fantastic characters. I feel bad for Sarah but Madison wasnt working. Id say bump Peggy to recurring. Its a real shame JOsh Taylor is basically wasting a contract that could go towards someone being fired. Also bump James Reynolds to recurring.
April 10, 201213 yr Member show should have told here but there is also this rush with anything and everything from soap press (print and online) to be first with a story that this is the unfortunate bi product
April 10, 201213 yr Member ... well at least they're not out in cornfields with shaky cameras. Yet. Kinda pissed about Christie and Matt Carrie and Jack are fantastic characters. I feel bad for Sarah but Madison wasnt working. Id say bump Peggy to recurring. Its a real shame JOsh Taylor is basically wasting a contract that could go towards someone being fired. Also bump James Reynolds to recurring. Yes to all 3. It's not like they're gonna get a contract on any of the 3 remaining sudsers.
April 10, 201213 yr Member Personally, at this rate, I'd prefer they just stop trying to "fix" the modern DAYS, and start rebroadcasting the show's golden years, penned by William J. Bell and Pat Falken Smith. I'd watch 1966-1976 religiously!

I guess the real problem is Corday doesn't seem to want to do this himself. That's exactly the problem. Louise Sorel wanted to be fired by The Boss, ultimately, anyone except Corday is an employee. He hasn't got the guts. I guess the guessing game is on for phase 2 of firings at DOOL. I would not be surprised to see James Reynolds, Peggy McKay, and Bryan Datillo out. Yes, the Phase 2 Firings will be the interesting ones. I think James Reynolds and Peggy McKay are obvious cuts, either off the show completely or recurring, Josh Taylor recurring (won't happen since he's a FOC), Camila Banus fired, Kate Mansi fired, Shawn Christian fired, Drake Hogestyn fired.
