More like since she became a teenager. She was smarter and stronger than people more than twice her age as a kid. Granted, I think she got some of her backbone back when Todd came back, but potato patotoh, right, Cheap?

Starr has to be a moron in order to get stories - women who have any role beyond whining about their love life need not apply (to any soap today). If we are lucky, she won't go around getting other people killed, like Lulu does.

It's a shame, too--soap or not, not every girl her age has to be paired up with someone. If she had decided to take Hope and go to PCU to study medicine or something like that, and start her life over there as a young single mom trying to make it (I know, it sounds like a sitcom to some degree), I think that could have been a great story. Some may find that boring, but it doesn't have to be.

It would have been a nice story, and the ending of OLTL was the perfect time for her to be alone. They tacked on a man for her just because the show seemed to believe that no woman is worthwhile unless she has a man, any man.

That they have so little respect for the character that she has to just pass out for an entire episode doesn't say much, but then, it's a good welcome for her life with Sonny and Michael.

I really hope that Hope doesn't die! It would be cute if they had scenes of her and Emma together.

It'll be interesting to see how Holly and Anna interact (Holly comes back tomorrow). They're weren't all that kind to each other the last time around (put it mildly), but it wasn't always like that:

Didn't Holly hate Robin in her last returns? Didn't she hate everybody?

I think RC would probably write a catfight for Holly and Anna, so the two being separate is probably for the best.

It could easily be fixed with a conversation between the two of them with Holly apologizing to Anna for how she behaved before, and remembering the little girl/young woman she called her stepdaughter at one point.

But of course, Ron is a bit of a loose cannon at times with his writing. It could go either way with him.
