If we T&B fans can expect to be REALLY screwed over come Friday, then I'm all for them coming over and resolving their story on GH. It would probably be best a short term thing, though, wrapping up the stuff that won't be wrapped up when OLTL ends.

Is it wrong that I now want Sonny & Jason to be involved with Carlo Hesser keeping Gabrielle and Al somewhere so that Max goes to PC to find them and take them back to Argentina for ANOTHER OLTL happy ending? It is? Oh well. I don't want to be right in that case laugh.png .

Just kidding. I am now thinking of rewriting M&G's story starting from 2003 with a true Bo/Nora/Max/Gabrielle quad, the one Frons supposedly squashed back then. Because honestly, going back to 1990 when Max was presumed dead on their wedding day would be too much for me, even if does mean negating Luna's existence entirely tongue.png .

I'll think of something good! smile.png

Alderson will be a good fit at GH, i think. ME & RH fit the GH leading man style, sadly. However im unsure about KD, tho a Blair/Carly friendship would be amazing and unexpected as opposed to them being rivals.

I can see Starr and Michael - at least the old Starr. I haven't watched the show enough these last few years to know what her character has morphed into, but one would assume motherhood has matured her a little.

As for KA herself, she's in the same boat as KMc in that she was watched growing up on screen. Perhaps loosing one actress that has gone from child to accomplished adult in front of everyone makes them want to hold onto the other actress who's gone from child and has yet to become an accomplished adult.

IMO KA's Starr is about the only character that does make sense to bring over. The others already have their copies on GH so why bother with duplicates and back-stories that are not known by all fans of GH?

Maybe Frank'll give them "with special appearances by" credits in the opening like when the Colbys were introduced on Dynasty. tongue.png

Do we know if these OLTL additions are long-term or short-term? I can't imagine Kassie de Paiva moving her entire family across the country, unless they plan on commuting AMC-style.

P.S. I think GH would be awesome if they made it a hybrid of GH, OLTL, and AMC.

P.P.S. I'd LOVE to see Robin Strasser as Dorian on GH. She could be the hospital's new Chief of Staff. The OLTL writers seemed to forget Dorian was a doctor.

Dorian as COS - well at least that would make sense

Any of the rumours I've read fall into three different categories

1 - only short term to wrap up what didn't get wrapped properly because of PP

2 - GH is done so everyone is getting the same time and the entire cast will be gone by then

3 - new PTB want to have short runs of high-profile characters to boost ratings quickly to secure GH's future

Pick a number, pick an insider, and pick your poison. All of the contradicting information is claimed by sources who "know the truth".

    • I did not care, just clarifying that was the discussion point. If there are ice cream bars in Statesville I am sure there is a full spa
    • Seeing Peter Bergman (Jack) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) act opposite each other really makes me mad that their short-lived reunion in 2012 was just that... short-lived. I've always loved the Jack/Nikki pairing.
    • No. I recall there was also a mention about how distracting it was EOB's Gwen wasn't wearing nail polish as well. That it was someone's pet peeve. And, yes, the fact characters can have a manicure in prison is the wildest continuity issue here.
    • Can anyone remember Mary Ellen Stuart's run as Jenny? I'm trying to fill in the cracks for missing stuff that we overlooked. Bulletpoints: * Dated Ross * Rusty's police partner * Directly responsible for Dinah coming forward about George Stewart (Cam's father)
    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances. An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point? If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH. Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising. The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton twirling his invisible moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health. (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"? What is this, "The Shadow"? And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
    • It absolutely was; the narrative was there, and they followed it promptly. Maybe that's back when women had babies at young ages?!?!?
