The "Miss Phyllis" controversy made me watch more of Y&R than I probably have in a while. Why do Sharon, Phyllis, and Victoria have their hair in their eyes at all times? Phyllis spent half her scenes taking her hair out of her eye. Is the show just out of money for hair and makeup? Phyllis looked less like a hot babe and more like MTV's Jesse Camp.

Why is Sharon dressed like she's in a 1974 porno? Why is her hair the color of stale pudding?

Is there any reason Ricky is on the show, or that this non-actor was cast?

Poor Jeff Branson seems to be on his way to looking like Kenny Rogers. I guess life with Phyllis does that. He also stutters 99% of his lines now - he only stuttered 75% on AMC and 80% on GL.

I loved how the DRUNK and the pathetic loser whose husband has betrayed her again, got all up in Sharon's face over custody. How about Nick's stability? Hmm. I'm with Avery and she dumps me and I go to the St. Phyllis for a romp. What made this thing even worse (the hysteria in the courtroom by Nikki and Victoria) was that it was reinstating a SHARED custody agreement. It's not like the judge gave full custody to Nick. Good grief.

re: Harmony @ RS I have to go back some eppys I must have missed that one too.; I did see Miss Phyllis & I just don't get why she sounds like she just came in from picking cotton; Is Harmony from the south?

Niki will take Victor back quickerthanthis I actually thought (MTS) she'd come back & be written different but no. he'll verbally abuse her & she'll be right back up in his cha-cha next week. disappointed that Niki still on the sauce. Same ole' same ole' They turned deacon back into a sleazeball was he trying to strangle her? They had such great chemistry.

.I don't know what to say about Victor & Sharon. I'm just stunned; I remembered years ago I think they kissed or something.

Kay is in her "My Fair Lady" mode and Yo-Harmony is her project. Personally I find Kay's actions insulting. Harmony's current ghetto accent is very annoying. I guess Kay's going to TEACH her how to speak "proper" English. And don't get me started on the "Miss Phylis"s comment. What's next Mr. Billy? GEEZE

Far from "My Fair Lady" the haughty grande dame who once kept control of her empire with an iron fist has been transformed into a needy old woman. She's become desperate for the approval of Devon and her poor suffereing bio-son, who always seems to have the same constipated expression plastered on his face when she appears.

YoHarmony's dress and accent far ourweigh anything Kay's doing. She was supposed to be from Seattle, wasn't she raised with Tyra as a sister? Even though they were eventually found not to be related they still both grew up in the Pacific Nothwest and Tyra didn't have an accent. YoHarmony followed Tucker around & it seems they spent quite a bit of time in LA. Devon caught up with her in the mid-west, sleeping under park benches in GC not Georgia. Don't see where YoHarmony could have picked up the southern "Miss" custom or the rest of her accent.

Maybe they are giving her a twang because Tucker has one. If YoHarmony sounded and carried herself like Angie Tucker's going to come off like a dumb hillbilly next to her. Tucker has a low-grade twang and often doesn't pronounce the consonants at the end his words. He's always come off sounding uneducated which is way I always have to remind myself he's supposed to be a billionaire businessman. Tucker never commands the room either, and Angie, like Jill and Kay, can. They have to knock these woman down a few pegs so Tucker can come across as the superior all knowing alpha male.

    • Absolutely! Brad should've simply moved on from Lunacy. There's no point of freeing her, if you're not going to at least make an attempt at redemption or incorporating her into the fold. It happened with Quinn, who committed quite a few felonies before become the Forrester Matriarch.  Heck, keep Lunacy in prison and have Poppy/Finn discover that she gave birth to twins - 'Sunny' could've come on with a clean slate and still had Sheila/Finn and all the other drama. It certainly couldn't have been worse than what we've witnessed with the destruction of $B.
    • I would enjoy it if Swan popped up on BTG as an old one time friend/mentor of Anita’s for a cameo. This is just

    • I had totally forgotten that Courtney story. I see Burton was already phoning it in by that point.
    • omg I completely missed that, but now when I see it typed here in your post, it's obvious icky cringe. So now I just checked and Tomas said that -- on May 27 that he likes the author Carl Ivati.  He said it with sort of an accent, so I didn't catch the stupid joke or think about the spelling.   I remember when that aired, that I actually said to myself at the time, "I wonder if that's a Latin American author, and I will have to google him later." And now I see your post, and I see. Well that's cringe, and I feel stupid to have fallen for it.

    • There's a lot you don't need if you have the writing.  You don't even need large casts!  You could make do with a cast of 12-18 actors if the writing is there.
    • Thank you. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with sleeping around if your spouse actually knows about it. She’s just a cheating slut.
    • OMG...Robert Mandan! And Donna Mills is a child. I keep hoping for more of early Ross/Vanessa.
    • I get your point, but I also know that if the roles were reversed -- if a man were screwing around on a woman this way -- everyone would be all "All with his head!" When I say Vanessa needs therapy, I'm actually being kind, because I could begin and end with the fact that she's a cheating slut.
    • Is nobody going to mention the cringefest that is 'Carl Ivati'?
    • I've accepted we'll probably never see any of the Roger/Holly 1976-1978 storyline. Whenever any of Roger/Holly 1979 and 1980 storylines surface, those are must watch as they set in motion everything we saw a decade later.
