This is what I want to know. It would have be great if the show ended showing that patient, though I have no idea who it could be to make it the ultimate shocker.

One board had a great theory that the final patient might be Laura Cudahy. I think that would definitely be an interesting way to go.

Gillian would be my choice, it would be the ultimate shocker & if RB doesn't do the online version then Ryan & Gillian can reunite, that is if ETB wants to do the show

I invite everyone to join me in my tacky "Choose Your Own Cliffhanger" thread, to outline the cliffhangers YOU would have chosen. That wasn't as crass as I feared it could be, but it was also a huge letdown in the final act IMO, aside from Erica's thread.

I really enjoyed the ending!

I was satisifed for the most part as a fan to be honest. I think the cliffhanger(s) aside from Erica's were weak.

I'm so glad AMC managed to keep their spoilers under check. No one knew what the heck was gonna happen until it did.

JR's ending is what had me the most preoccupied and I'm actually ok with it. He didn't go on a shooting spree, we heard one gunshot and that's it. Maybe he killed himself, I don't know but I prefer to believe he bailed and hopped on the next plane and just dissapeared....that's my happy JR ending and I'm sticking with it.

I think making it seem like Erica could be them person most in danger was really smart.

I'm also glad Babe didn't return or was the 2nd patient. Of course David could be lying but I don't think he was. Babe's scenes with JR on wednesday was in my opinion the perfect last scenes of her.

The good: The montage at the beginning, Adam bailing David out of jail and giving him money, Erica finally free of that ingrate Jack, it wasn't a massive shootout by JR liked I feared. The bad: KWAK yelling at David, Dixie badgering David about who the patient is, Jack and Erica as Scarlett and Rhett.

I just finished watching the last episode of All My Children - a very emotional time for me. I am so grateful to "The View" and ABC for their beautiful tribute show for All My Children and Agnes Nixon. And to Agnes and to ABC for the incredible opportunity to play the amazing Erica Kane. At the center of all my gratitude is you, the fans. Let's hope we all get to see more of Pine Valley and the beloved characters Agnes Nixon has created. Today's episode ended with quite a cliff hanger - and I really want to see what happens next!

I didn't even hear the gunshot, and apparently that was the case for many Canadian viewers. It just ended with Erica walking across JR's line of sight after Jackson.

I'm going to have to explain to my mother what the ending was supposed to be and that's pretty pathetic.

I just realized that I think the only 2 cast members who werent on were Asher and Caleb. Guessing Adam wouldnt want to see him...lol

LOL yep they were the only two. Oddly enough Trent Garrett is in the final cast photo but Natalie Hall isn't.
