As a Trekker, I'm reminded of the episode titled "Let That be Your Last Battlefield" where two warring aliens from the same planet chased each other across the universe only to end up back on their destroyed home planet where they proceeded to fight each other forever. I always remember the scene where Kirk and Spock look on perplexed as one of the aliens stated that he was black on the right side and the other was white on the other side. A lot of people don't like Thomas turning into Ridge 2.0, don't want to see Thomas lust after his step-mommy. And then you have Oliver/Hope/Liam/Amber which many are tired of seeing on their screen nearly everyday especially in a story that's been done a million times before.
