ABC Daytime to Make Major Lineup Decisions in Coming Weeks

I mean, it COULD. It would save AMC money and not alienate an entire fanbase. And who wants to watch another hour-long gabfest anyway?

IMO..AMC has had many chances to get its act together. That's why I also think it's on the chopping block. How many writers has AMC gone through already?? How many cost saving measures have been made to save it???

I doubt ABC cares about the AMC fanbase. Hell...CBS didnt care about GL and ATWT fanbase when they cancelled both shows. Which were the two longest running soaps on the air.

This whole pose has always been a poor fit for you, dear; you can't carry it off. You have all the edge of a 1994 Afterschool Special.

+1

Back to topic, I think this is more about Oprah's time slot than anything else, but we shall see.

And this is what I'm talking about. Splitting hairs when we all should be yanking Anne's out.

I used to love the letter-writing campaigns to get McTavish fired. "This Anne Sweeney's address, she's Frons's boss! Write to her and tell her that you're disappointed in AMC! She can make Frons fire McTavish and make AMC good again!!!"

I just...I....I....

SHE DOES NOT CARE!!!!!!!!!!!

All three shows IMO are creatively speaking, sh*t, and have been for quite sometime.

But the talk shows, every single one, are [!@#$%^&*] too. The View rots the brain. "Hi, we are four yentas and we will discuss every topic under the sun, but out twist is we are all idiots and don't actually know what we are talking about even on such universally accepted concepts like the earth being flat. Tune in tomorrow as we weigh in on the issues of the day."

And then there is the even worse The Talk. You have to be a masochist to watch that or any of these shows. Judge this, Judge that, Dr I-Am-Not-Actually-A-Doctor...any soap, even the worst soap ever, is better than all that dross.

I find The View entertaining....I can't say that about AMC, GH or Y&R right now. That's why I dont watch them.

Oh God...Yes! Those doctor shows especially get on my last damn nerve. Cause, they always wanna tell you what you should eat, drink, and everything else. Like their information is really gonna 'change your life' what the f__k ever. Seriously.

My take. It's AMC, the actors know it. But are not going to reveal anything to the public. Think about no one has signed any extension contract. AMC has had many chances...many of them. OLTL actually shows it still has it, OLTL works that 18-36 demo and teen demo, AMC, AMC this past week ranked under OLTL, a show on a budget while AMC keeps on you know.

I can't watch Dr. Oz, he makes me paranoid as a [!@#$%^&*]

You can bet that if AMC is cancelled, several of their cast would be incorporated into OLTL. The Kane women, especially Lucci, and Budig would wind up at OLTL.

I doubt it.... Lucci I think is struggling big time for probably the first time ever to be justifying still playing Erica (what with the commute and all) and Budig won't leave California.

I honestly don't think anyone would be transplanted, off of either show.

Budig might be given the option, but I dont see her going to OLTL. If anything, she'd wind up on GH
