I really want to agree wiht this, but it's difficult. Sherri's bs sets adoption and surrogacy back years! If she were not getting a divorce, Sherri would consider this her child and hopefully she would fight for that child. Now, she just tosses it out so she does not have to come off of cash? The birth mother has to be wondering what happens to this kid once she hands him/her over. What does this do for surrogacy in the future? Sherri signed an agreement with the surrogate that she would be the child's mother and now she isn't ? Why not fight for custody even if her husband if the bio father? Because the whole pregnancy was for show? She doesn't take care the of the kid she has now.

It's no wonder some states don't screw around with surrogacy. The courts just don't have time for this!

If I were the birth mother, I'd keep the kid and give Sherri and her husband the finger!

It is HIGHLY unlikely that the surrogate carrying the baby is biologically connected to the child. Legitimate agencies that do surrogacy do not use the surrogates eggs that is taken from normally a unanimous donor who probably has no idea that her egg is the one even involved in this mess.

Understood, but that would not matter because in many states, the vessel (surrogate) trumps all. Even if Sherri used her eggs, the surrogate, having carried and nurtured the child from conception, would trump Sherri in a custody case.

Rosie is a bad idea for any permanent job on a talk show. She starts out as sharp and fun and becomes a black hole of bitterness and unresolved childhood baggage.

I could not have said that better myself. She messed up her own show in the 1990's and then came on the View and messed it up once aready. First i love Barbara Walters but clearly she is so out of touch with the show, she doesn't care what happens to it. I bet this will be Whoopie's last season. Somone once said, "Rosie doesn't sit on the bus...she's a bus driver!" She won't be content for long to just sit back and let Whoopie moderate. She'll be getting into feuds with celebrities and even her own co-hosts before long.

Omg the elisabitch and Rosie feud. Damn elisabitch seems bitter and downright nasty. I will say the view was so dull last year that they want this kind of buzz.

I can't beleive i'm defending Elizabeth because i'm not her biggest fan (far from it), but i think everything she said was true. She had the same feelings i did (which is a scary thought.)
