Did ATWT and GL ever tape in the same studio?

Did ATWT and GL do any crossovers? I know that after AW, Stephen Schnetzer reprised Cass on both ATWT and GL to do legal work, but I really don't count him because he wasn't a regular character on either show.

That is sad.

On the exact same day in 1974 when I had my screen test with Eileen Fulton to play her son Chuckie they were also screen testing actors for John Colenback's replacement. I vividly remember watching John Reilly do his scene with Fulton and thinking he'd probably get the role. And he did!

Sad about John Colenback. Handsome man, and while I have only seen a little of his work, I can see why he was popular in the role.

I remember seeing another actor at the screen test but he was dull. There must have been a third who had already screen tested when I got there. Reilly had an easygoing, natural quality. Eileen Fulton as Lisa seemed to be flirting with him!

I know Colenback was very popular in his first stint with the whole Dan/Liz story.

Then he was dropped. Was he fired? Or was his contract up and he decided to leave or TPTB (Irna) decided to drop Dan?

When Dan returned it was John Reilly who was popular as Dan in the Dan/Kim romance.

When Colenbeck returned did he have the same chemistry with Kim/Kathryn Hays? Was his Dan vastly different to Reilly's?
