  1. Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

I think that’s where it could be headed. When Rob looked down his sheet, I think we were supposed to think Rob had “seen” blood on them? Yikes.
  2. Coronation Street: Discussion Thread

Pat Phelan needs to go already. Enough is enough.
  3. Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

So what are your thoughts on where this Tom storyline will lead? Is he seeking revenge for somebody by messing with Debbie? It certainly can’t be her magic vag. If this was an American soap I guess it could be Andy with plastic surgery after winning the Euromillions jackpot in France.
  4. Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

So Adam's exit storyline will be he's going blind?
  5. Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

That would be great, Carl, thanks!
  6. Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

Yes, I did mean that the actors playing Daz and Paddy do look quite similar facially. I don't think I saw Daz in his previous stint-was he at all interesting then?
  7. Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

Gawd, that second episode tonight was ENDLESS. Should we really give a f**k about Daz? He's just Paddy with hair.
  8. EastEnders: Discussion Thread

I thought he'd at least bring on Michael Greco (Beppe). Greco's apparently been living there for a while. I saw him on the ABC show Revenge. Michelle Collins was there this summer but I don't know if she had a work permit for the US.
  9. EastEnders: Discussion Thread

Me, too, thought he'd throw her on Y&R for a bit.

That's a really lovely pic that Jossa posted. As far as I know all Palmer has done since moving to LA has been a commercial (for Best Buy?).
  11. EastEnders: Discussion Thread

Janine's in the small club of characters I would actually define as "iconic." I think EastEnders needs a good troublemaker and she serves that function extremely well. I'm not too sure about this casting development: http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/eastenders/news/a837776/eastenders-spoilers-patrick-bergin-joining-cast-changes/
  12. EastEnders: Discussion Thread

Yes, him and Tony Jordan. I suspect Fitzgerald and Jossa are the first in a line of dismissals to make way for some big returns like Charlie Brooks and, I hope, Michael French.

Jane can't die! Laurie Brett has to do a duet with Bonnie Langford on Children In Need in November!
  14. Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

Well, she's awful. She constantly rolls her eyes and her line readings are fake and robotic.
  15. Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

Dear God, tonight's episode was awful. That child playing Amelia is terrible but the writers seem to think she's a riot and are including her more and more. The business with the missing car was tedious beyond belief. The Nell/Jai storyline is atrocious. Yikes.
  16. Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

I hope the love interest is this new character Graham being played by the actor who played Farmer Tim on Downton Abbey. He's hot and I'd like to see Aaron with an older man.
  17. EastEnders: Discussion Thread

Edward, I met her about 14 years ago when I was at Elstree meeting a friend. It was a distinctly unpleasant experience. Out of all the EE actors I've met over the years, both in person and over the phone, she and Sid Owen stand out to me as the ones who I've been most unimpressed by. What they both seemed to have in common was...well, they exemplified the term "common." Both were grubby, humorless a**holes who seemed to have no interest in anyone or anything beyond the immediate world in which they inhabited. Which is pretty unusual as far as actors go-their curiosity is sometimes a major factor in how they work.
  18. Coronation Street: Discussion Thread

I think she'll have surgery and will survive. I hope at least Emily might show up to visit her.
  19. Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

The Friday cliffhanger was that "comical" bit of Kerry locking out Dan to show him what being homeless is like. Ghastly.
  20. EastEnders: Discussion Thread

Yikes. Jessie Wallace really does have a lot in common with Kat, it would seem.
  21. Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

This Eric/Faith/Rodney "triangle" is unbearable. And so is Robert's poisoning Lawrence and then fiddling with his medical tests. Awful. Jesus, how much worse will this show get before something gets done?
  22. Coronation Street: Discussion Thread

    The Mary/Jude scenes were touching.
  23. Coronation Street: Discussion Thread

But it's been well established that she always wanted one and was totally devastated when she suffered a miscarriage.
  24. Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

Yes, probably, that was a clumsy contrivance to get them both involved in something relatively soon after Ashley's death. And it didn't work at all.
