Shah's Pulled Due to Union Strike: http://deadline.com/2014/09/shahs-of-sunset-strike-season-premiere-delayed-bravo-833424/

Looks like the post-production people are striking in Hollywood so the Shah's of Sunset mid-October premiere has been delayed. I wonder if this will push back the two upcoming Housewives series? Of course they haven't announced a date for either one, but if the people from those shows are striking as well I think it's likely we could see them arriving later. My guess is they'll do everything in their power to get RHOA on air for November sweeps, but I could see RHOBH pushed to December.

Because I like to harp on things I must say this is yet another reason it was so stupid not to just run RHOMelbourne in primetime. It was edited, ready to go and has been well-received. Now they literally have nothing they can air in this timeslot.

I wish they'd push back NJ so far back that we never have to watch it again b/c this season is hot garbage. And this strike better not push back RHOA. Kenya already tweeted today that this season is going to juicer than last season when a fan asked her. I need my dosage of RHOA on time. And Vanderpump Rules too. I'm on the fence with RHOBH.

I don't think New Jersey is terrible. I'd say it's an improvement on the previous two seasons, but the problems with the series are deep and this is their first step to try and remedy that. I could see next season being great if they continue on and stop focusing so much on the family drama.

I think the problem is that in the grand scheme of things, nobody really *cares* about what's happening to these women on Jersey. The Twins and Amber are new and are so thirsty to camp it up for the cameras, Melissa is boring with nothing going on, Dina has nothing going on, and Teresa is a buzzkill with her impending court case. Yes, we feel for her (well, some of us), but each week it's the same thing. There's nothing really juicy to get invested in this year.

Hopefully Jacqueline can help save NJ but doubt that will happen considering she started filming so late and her material will feel disjointed and choppy with the rest. I think the show may have been better had she been there from the beginning and Theresa (the married twin) was dropped to a friend.

Im also shocked that none of Teresa G.'s thirsty friends from last season were brought back. Seems like Bravo was auditioning them for a spot.

I'm glad everyone is seeing Amber for the snake she is. That whole church scene was an absolute fraud.

Aww at Gino (Teresa/Rino's son) slowly falling for Lexie at the little dinner. Little mutt couldn't keep his eyes off her!

Cheap which of her friends were technically auditioning? OH you must be referring to that blond girl who had beef with Melissa and Joe Gorga? I forgot her real name but it was Pam D or something?

I think New Jersey is a million times better than last year. I stop tuning in after 4 episodes last season but now I'm hooked again.

Jennifer the realtor was for sure

ExD7r58.jpg

She had a whole table of friends that appeared throughout last season that were thirsty for a spot. In addition to Kim D, there was Penny, who was spreading the rumors about Melissa. There was also Melissa's ex best friend that was threatening to expose secrets. I cant recall her name though. Im guessing all these women were dropped after Teresa's legal troubles came to light and the show wanted a different story for her which involved her and Melissa "making up". Those women didn't fit in with that

Oh yeah the realtor was very sketch. Dang I was kinda hoping the trip would occur but the episode was still good in terms of build up to it.

Giovannie is drop dead hot...God forgive me....lol. I just don't feel for Amber and her situation which is sad really. It just doesn't come across as authentic to me and her badgering Teresa for details was just shameful. Not the actions of a true friend or a smart individual as the Other Teresa said.

Loved all the emotional scenes but by far the convo between Tre and Gia in the car with lil Audriana in the back was so beautiful. At first I was confused why Tre was telling Dina about the Gotti incident but her explanation about the trip made perfect sense.

I quit NJ last year. So I have no idea what S6 is about. I turned it on for a minute and found the Breaking Bad bingewatch on AMC more interesting.

Too many changes and some people are so UNLIKABLE (Hello Ms. Giudice, of course I will give her some slack for creating some funny-ass drama moments last year and the CONSTANT Shrieking, CRINGE-WORTHY SCREAMING to the point her voice box cracks. Oh and Melissa your included too) Also the 1000 time go around Melissa vs. Teresa (SHE SAID I WAS A STRIPPER. I read this in this magazine) STFU. Is this what this show has come too? Repetitive, unlikable bullshit, Also Teresa is always about herself as is Joe and PLEASE stop giving whatever the [!@#$%^&*] there 12 year old name is airtime -- spoiled little brat.

Idk, if they still show the Watkile's as I LOVED them, going to miss the MANZOS! And as for the new people, I don't know how good they are, but I saw some glimpses months ago from previews and it just looks like trash is continuing w/ newer, unlikable people Bravo thinks will stir up ratings. As for Dina, I'm crossed between her b/c I know she has some problems and issues so I can't really come down on her. Life can be hard, understandable.

However, show has gotten trashy, I liked when it balanced family. drama, and trashy entertainment w/ people I can tolerate. But heh, the fun of trashy reality shows right?

Right now If I had to choose I probably would choose Atlanta (only other RH I've watched) and Mob Wives as ones I love. Also I so need to go back to The Real World on MTV and catch up on all the ish I've missed!

    • Yes, but the stories are all pretty awful Seeing Victor rehashing his hatred of the Abbotts  when he married one of them and has a daughter that is half Abbott as well as walking around with Traci's daughter's heart keeping him alive makes him look worse than he already is. And I remember he and Jack chatting amicably in the past few years. Victor interfering in Kyle/Claire is just repeat of Billy/Victoria. Sharon, Nick,Phyllis etc are around but again the stories are lacking.
    • I think Kevin's 1996 Emmy was fair enough. He barely appeared for his second. I don't think anyone else on the list is that deserving but I might have gone with Moore as he did try with the whole Keesha AIDS story.
    • Thank you. That does ring a bell. I remember Theresa and Julian's drunk, giggly fake wedding (with Julian asking "Whassup?" to the minister). Was Bruce tricking the pair as a prank, or did somebody put him up to it? I especially liked Katherine recalling how dashing young Alistair was when he'd pick up Rachel for dates, and how she wished she could be her sister, then feeling guilty once Rachel had her boating accident ...
    • And Kevin Mambo beat Shemar Moore for those two Emmys. I chalk up the wins to the voters not wanting Jonathan Jackson to eventually end up with a five peat (he won 1995, 1998, 1999). These were the 1996 and 1997 Younger Actor races. 1996: Nathan Fillion, Jonathan Jackson, Kevin Mambo (winner), Shemar Moore, Joshua Morrow 1997: Steve Burton, Jonathan Jackson, Kevin Mambo (winner), Shemar Moore, Joshua Morrow

    • Today's episode was excellent. Clearly it was confrontation day and they didn't disappoint. I'm glad they didn't forget Mona in all of this and gave us an opportunity to see how she's dealing with this. A major highlight for me were the Kat and Martin scenes. Their chemistry is off the charts and I don't understand why we haven't gotten more of this. I love how they take turns calming each other down. They feel really well matched and believable as siblings. Speaking of siblings, they anvils were dropping strong that Kat and Eva are twins but I do wish someone would mention that they are essentially hood twins which might throw people off the scent.  I'm one of the people who enjoyed Joey and the gambling storyline so it was nice to see him again. It was nice to see different characters like Mona and Eva in that element instead of the usual players. When Doug arrived I don't know what hit me but I just see a funeral in his future. He seems so hopeless and has the worst luck. I just can't see him surviving the year at this rate.
    • In fiction there has become an expectation by some that every Black character should represent excellence and perfection. It's not like we are talking about a Tyler Perry show where none of the characters are happy and everyone hates each other with a passion.
    • And on rewatch, I could've done without the unsubtle praising Matt like he was the only one who ever accepted Van as she was...but TPTB and their agendas.  It was totally in character for Vanessa to shut down emotionally until she was alone. While she could be volatile, both she and Henry believed in keeping emotions private.  Thank God it's still Bryan Buffinton in the role for both Henry's and HB's funerals. It just wouldn't have been the same with Ryan Brown, who couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag. Roll My Eyes.
    • I can probably believe the Spauldings reacting that way, as Alan barely cares about anyone but himself and maybe his family, while Amanda only had that one experience with the Coopers, but I see your point. I do think 1997 was a better year than the last 3-4 before it, for whatever that's worth. You are right about Marcus. Kevin Mambo winning two Emmies (the latter during periods where he had nothing to do) helped.
