To be fair... maybe it was because they didn't want to set up an entire new photoshoot in the age of covid19?

NY

I saw the excerpts of NY where Leah goes "What's the plan for Heather" and proceeds to *seek out* on her phone negative things Heather may have said about the other women at the table and Sorry but that's one way to completely and forever turn me off of Leah. What a ridiculous thing to do.

This is why I don't like Leah. I HATE when Housewives manufacture stories and that is 100% what this is. Let's be real: Leah has no storyline. She's faking this converting to Judaism thing to have a story, now she's pushing this thing with Heather to produce additional story. The other ladies all have interesting things to follow. Sonja has her money issues and feuds, Ramona is literally giving them gold with her massive Hampton's home as a filming location, Luann has a BF and Eboni has stuff going on. Leah is just trying to stay relevant.

The stuff with Heather has NOTHING to do with her and if it needs to be brought up, it needs to be brought up by Luann, Sonja or Ramona in order for it to be interesting. Now I'm not sure how it'll go, but you can't convince me I'll side with Leah on this.

Remember last year the cast photo was leaked like 5 months before they even announced the season.

Heather (and Carole) have spilled some big tea about Luann on various podcasts, so if anybody should have an issue with Heather, it's Lu.

For whatever reason, she has never really commented on it, which says to me (A) Heather knows where the bodies are buried, and (B ) Lu will confront Heather if she wants to and when she is good and ready.

I'm not sure why Leah is wading in here, except for relevancy, but by the same token... Heather vs Leah kind of excites me as a SL? We have been teased this for months! I am waiting to see what this mess is about. Yes, I love Heather and yes, Leah is a manipulative know-it-all. However, sometimes Heather can be a sanctimonious know-it-all, too! Moreover, Leah is trying to drum up some drama on the show, and I can't completely fault that. The problem with this particular drama is, the OGs don't seem like they really care to instigate (it's their beef to have), and Heather doesn't care to keep it alive. So Leah is likely to fall flat on her face. Again, I am ready to watch all this play out!

NY

I want to say it was @Chris B who said this for sure, but I know most of us know that all of the ladies are strong enough personalities that 5 HWs can give A LOT of filming. Which is probably why Heather pops up a few days in which isn't much time after they arrived.

So...a little Hampton tea.

@Taoboi Eboni whetting our appetite for the next few episodes

And ooooof! Juicy RHOBH clip! Garcelle holds Rinna's feet to the fire! "I'm not going to disagree." I'd be stunned if Rinna had any friends left in LA.

There is nothing in this conversation with Lisa Rinna that makes any sense to me. It is just... words with no coherence. Calling yourself name is not the equivalent of an explanation or an excuse!
The irony for Rinna of course is that the best explanation/excuse for her behavior is the one she can't give: she is doing those things because this is a TV show and she is giving a performance and she thinks this kind of drama was what producers wanted.

Reacting as a real friend and someone who is there and for whom there is more than just TV, it is horrid behavior. But on the other hand"Why is it your place to keep each other honest?" strikes me as a bit deluded on Garcelle's part, if a human reaction.
This is reality TV; of course it is part of the job to call each other out. The problem is when it crosses the lines into bullying and belaboring minor BS AND a double-standard with the ones they are NOT keeping honest (cough, Erika until now, cough).
But Rinna's behavior, like it or not, crasser than it needs to be, has a logic to it and she is making no sense here because the simpler explanation for it - not necessarily sympathetic either btw -is not one she can't explicitly admit to.

'I think Rinna is trying to own it quickly so I don't come for her.'

Re: NY--MY BODY IS READY!!!! lol.

That Ramona gif stays making me miss Manhattan and the nightlife there. And gets a good giggle out of me.

    • Thanks. Appreciate that. P.S. I'm praying for a Summer of Gio.
    • Great episode today. Strong follow-up from yesterday, and a lot of really good dialogue. -- Lots of comments here about Vernon being the Olivia Pope of BTG, but I'll let you know when that happens. He and the family "move into action" after a scandal, but they've yet to really accomplish anything. Vernon couldn't even clear the room of everyone but family when he tried. -- Wardrobe did a great job overall. Anita wins Worst Dressed. That gown did not flatter TT and that gigantic necklace was bad. -- Sean Freeman did great work as Andre in Andre's scene with Eva. -- Brandon Claybon was great as Martin in his most dramatic scenes. I don't know how anyone can avoid seeing how much he's improved. -- There's way too much criticism here of Maurice Johnson's performance as Ted. If we didn't know he was replaced, I don't think we'd see this "He's not giving enough" stuff. My feeling is that this is all confirmation bias. I think the guy's done a nice job. Ted didn't whine for pity and he didn't scream like he's a victim. He's spent decades hiding this, and I think it's fair that he feels blindsided and unable to respond. -- I don't want to hear Vanessa lecture and moralize about any other character when she's so compromised. She's a cheater and a ho. -- It would have made more sense for Vanessa and Doug to be at the party. The hospital visit was weird, and seemed like an excuse for the scene where we (again) realized that Doug knows his wife is a cheater. -- I love this board, but damn, do people give away Emmys around here like gummy bears. -- I wish I knew what Leslie's end game is. Is it enough to destroy Ted's marriage to Nicole? Does she really think she can win Ted back? Or is she just so batsht crazy that it's impossible to know what she wants?
    • Thanks @kalbir for sorting that all out! I feel bad Jane’s return in “The Return” ranked lowest as did the finale…although of course by then the show was in a dead slot on Thursdays.  The Avenging Angel aired without Dallas in front of it and still ranked #12  (same week Knots finale went to #1 the night before). The earthquake finale which aired on a Thursday night fared better year later I believe.    We talked about the show’s syndication misses and SOD took notice with this 1997 article: FALCON CREST: Time to Uncork a Classic Soap Opera Digest, November 11, 1997 KNOTS LANDING, DYNASTY and DALLAS have all become a familiar fixture on the cable-TV landscape. But one soap is missing. We think it's time for FALCON CREST (which was bought for syndication by TBS in 1986) to be dug out of mothballs and put back on the air. Although overshadowed by it's megahit lead-in, DALLAS, FALCON CREST consistently delivered first-rate entertainment. The stars: Jane Wyman as sour grapes queen Angela, Susan Sullivan as long-suffering Maggie and David Selby as black sheep Richard, provided a strong back-bone. They were supported by a wide assortment of celeb guests: Gina Lollobrigida, Lana Tumer, Morgan Fairchild and even Apollonia visited the winery. The plots were fun and often outrageous: tires, explosions, shootings, plañe crashes, eqrthquakes, ¡Ilegitímate kids who became priests, legitímate offspring who joined convents ... not to mention Melissa, the slumming socialite with a lounge act. Plus, FALCON CREST had a wicked sense of humor that surfaced in acerbic dialogue. So let's get this vintage drama back on the air where it belongs. The wine has aged long enough.
    • Jason, thank you so much & I was just speaking of you earlier. I was saying we need to throw a cyber  party with some special invited guests. You were one of them! Not because you are brilliant, even though you are, but because you are kind. And we appreciate you, really we do.

    • I'm not counting on Drew AT ALL. But, I don't think he will think of Nina & I KNOW he would never think of NIna & Carly in league against  him. Just goes to show how out of touch he really is and he really  is. i'm not so sure unless you mean Tracy tearing Lois another orifice. Talk about furious, we are really going to get to witness the impending storm. I may even feel for Lois .... No, I won't. But it was anice thought for a moment. I cannot seem to spare any sympathy for Willow, Drew, Lois, Brook Lynn, Chase, what a list, huh?
    • Yeah Drew thinking her will be short lived I feel

      Your posts never disappoint!
    • This was definitely one of the best episodes so far. So much to unpack. I'm really disappointed with Ted. I honestly thought that maybe he would come clean and maybe try to explain his side of things, but nope! He was denying everything. Also, I was not expecting to hear that Nicole and Leslie were pregnant at the same time. That can't simply be a coincidence. For a while I wasn't so sure of the fan theory that Kat and Eva might be twins or switched at birth but after today's episode I can't help but wonder if it might even be possible. If the writers really want Nicole to eventually warm up to Eva and accept her, I won't be surprised if it eventually turns out that they are actually twins and Leslie stole her or something. And I'll be honest, I actually really like the idea.  I don't know where the writers are even going with the whole Ted/Nicole/Leslie thing, but if Ted doesn't end up having a drastic personality change with the recast, then I can eventually see Ted and Nicole reconciling. At the very least for the time being I can see Nicole asking Ted to move out and he ends up staying at a hotel for the time being until he gets his own place. If not... then I guess Dr. Carlton is waiting in the wings...
