Between Andy's obvious disappointment and the fact that someone at the reunion is bringing up Leanne saying "f*ggot" several times during filming, I think she's done. If they find the footage of her saying that and add it she's toast. It's just too much to overcome. Plus the ratings for this show are so low it's lucky not to be canceled. I'm fully expecting a full reboot next season and if that doesn't work Dallas is done. They seem to be heavily casting and from what I've seen on Twitter there are four people they're currently doing test filming with. You don't do that if you're just looking for one housewife. Hell, even if Leanne hadn't done this they still needed a reboot so her job was never safe. I do wonder if Kary will be spared due to this drama surrounding her.

I tend to agree that after seeing this week's episode, Leanne is finished.

Kary's job should not be spared, however, as she is an atrocious housewife and contributes nothing of any value. The only cast member I would keep is Stephanie because she is beloved - and if that means Brandi too then so be it.

I know some will say "She's a bigot, she doesn't deserve your empathy," but as awful as she has been this season, I can't help but worry how she will deal with the backlash. It's clear Andy and Bravo will wash their hands of her. I believe Leeanne when she says she grew up feeling rejected by people, and this will be renewed rejection on a much bigger scale. I hope she has a support system around her.

Bravo and Andy acting outraged and yet: this is the only SL on Dallas right now, people are talking about it, the show may even see a ratings bump because of it.

ETA: Not condoning what she said at all. I think she should be fired for this. By the same token, Leeanne is a damaged person and I'm not sure she has the confidence or ego of a Jill Zarin who kept on Zarining even after she was booted from NYC.

As wrong (more thoughtless) as some of her comments were, I still don’t think LeeAnne is racist. She’s such a strong and vocal supporter of diversity. She would be the last one on that cast that I’d consider to be a true racist. I do think half of her comments were again, just saying what Kary always says about herself (strong Mexican). Her other comments though, like chirpy chihuahua, were wrong and tacky.

I can’t see Stephanie without Brandi. I enjoy that duo. I only enjoy D’Andra because of her mother. I like Kameron a lot. So I don’t know how to shake that cast up without taking out someone I like, which sucks.  We do, however need new blood and direction.

Leeanne's official apology was very poor tho. "I'm sorry if I offended anyone...." She doesn't get it even after reunion, and that's a problem.

I love Stephanie too and Kameron. Like you, I also enjoy Mama Dee (kind of like i wouldn't mind seeing Dale on NYC even without Tinsley). So i hope Dallas doesn't completely wipe the slate.

If I were them, I'd keep Stephanie, Kameron, Brandi and D'Andra and add three new wives. Honestly, I'd even be open to four new wives and Brandi as a friend if casting goes well. Dallas needs to come back with the excitement that Miami came back with in season 2. I want it to feel refreshed and new. I'm hoping they can turn things around.

I don't think Leeanne is racist either. I think she's ignorant as f-ck and stupid as hell as she played right into D'Andra and Kary's hands. Leeanne let the little bit of fame get to her head and now she is tarnished going forward. She most definitely is tarnished in my eyes.

But again, I don't think Bravo will fire Leeanne. Vicki has said homophobic sh-t for years and still has a job. So has majority of the ATL cast. Ramona says offensive sh-t on the sly and keeps a job. Brandi said racist sh-t, and Joyce was fired instead of her. And don't get me started on the NJ cast.

While Andy touts his "disgust," his a** is loving this along with the remainder of the execs at Bravo.

I think Leeanne's status with the show all depends on how she reacted at the reunion and how we (the audience) receive. If she is combative and defensive, I think she is done. If she is open and receives the information, she might save herself from being fired.

But I am all for a retool too at this point. Dare I say it but keep Kameron and Stephanie and dump the rest.

at the tension between Kenya and Quad on WWHL. After a clip played of Kenya/Marc arguing, Quad jumped in and asked Kenya a question about her relationship with Marc, and Kenya said, “I’m going to let Andy ask the questions.”

    •   1. 11/1/83 cast/set list:

Please register in order to view this content

The "11/2/83" video you posted of Ruth Buzzi's scenes includes Roman and Hope in them, meaning the video you posted is actually 11/1/83, since Roman and Hope aren't in 11/2/83.   2. The video you posted of "11/2/83" has scenes with Roman and Hope. As you can see from my cast/set list, Roman and Hope are not in the 11/2/83 episode (see above note):   4573...11/2/83: Cast: Mickey, Julie, Doug, Maggie, Neil, Don, Marie, Alex, Liz, Andre as Tony, Gwen, Chris, Eugene, Sandy, Letitia, Charlene, Mrs. Whiting, Wanda/Guard, Dave, Delia, Saleslady # 1, Saleslady # 2, Figure in Dark, Raven/animal, Cats/animals, Birds/animals.   2.  11/3/83 :My video collection starts with 11/4/83. so I don't have the 11/1/83 or 11/3/83 video, but in addition to the cast/set list for 11/3/83, here is also the parking clearance call sheet for that day, showing Ruth was not only in the cast/set list but did work that day:     They even had hired the animal trainer and all the animals for the day, so It's sort of a certainty that her scenes were not cut that day, or it would have been a big waste of the budget. 3. As for 11/7/83, I just fast-forwarded through that whole episode myself. Letitia is in it from start to finish. It's her big final episode where she is killed. She starts the episode saying "Eugene, are you there?" In the next act, Marlena shows up and meets Letitia's lion. Later in the episode, Letitia is killed by "Eugene" (the Salem Slasher in a Eugene mask).   So, as we can see from your own post, the 11/2/83 date you have listed on that video is incorrect, since Hope and Roman are in that video but not in the 11/2/83 episode. It seems the dates you have on all your early November 1983 episodes are incorrect.   When you post videos and suggest that my data is incorrect, do you not first compare who is in the scenes and see if that matches who is in the episode? You didn't do that with the "11/2/83" episode, which based on Roman and Hope being in it means that is actually 11/1/83. Best to do something like that first before suggesting my data and research is incorrect.
    • Within the Dupree family, I predict Vernon/Anita will be conflicted about what to do about Bill and his role in the whole Ted/Silk Press Sheila situation... especially since Bill knows where the particular bone about Martin is buried. Dani, Chelsea, and Naomi's reactions to what Bill possibly did isn't hard to guess.. but Hayley's reactions will be interesting to hear.  Especially given her recent pregnancy scare.. she might not be so much on Bill's side, or she'll totally surprise us and be totally on Bill's side.   Either way, I think Martin's secret will be the main focus in May sweeps.. with the fall out of the Eva secret playing out in the background... while the Joey/Vanessa/Doug thing continues to boil/develop.
    • Hotel was The Love Boat on land but a little soapier. I will forever maintain that Hotel was a time slot hit. I don't believe that 1983/84 Hotel was a better show than Knots Landing.

    • The timing is strange, though. How far in advance would they normally be on location? The Achille Lauro hijacking was on October 7, 1985. Nancy had arrived in Egypt in the storyline by October 18. But the character of Hawk, Chris' Native American friend from Arizona, had already appeared onscreen by September and brought a letter telling Chris to be in Egypt by October 25th.  Why did they already have the link to Arizona before the reason to cancel the shoot in Egypt?  The dust and the jar it came in were from Egypt though. Nancy bought it there and sent it to Mac as a gift before she came back to the states and followed Chris to Arizona.
    • Actually that is not what happened. Nor is the timing right for it to have been. We learned from a WOST interview with Pete Lemay  in 2006, which can be found on YT, that it was Fred Silverman's idea to do the 90 minute show. I don't know how much you know about him but he had these amazing successes as head of daytime at both ABC & at CBS. Then he came to NBC where basically everything he touched turned NOT TO GOLD but to shite. Some of the most expensive shows ever produced up to that time were huge flops. Although even he, like a broken clock, could be right on occasion. However, as we know, he was not right about the 90 minute show. As a matter of fact, afterward,  NBC programmers, who worked FOR him, were asked why they did it & they were quoted as saying it was because they couldn't think of anything else to try. It was a stupid idea from a man who had reached the point where he was throwing anything at the wall to see if it would stick.

    • I stopped watching Another World in 1990. Simply, lost interest in the show.  I had watched the show from 1973 to 1990. The 90 minute show started the decline of AW.  NBC panicked with expanding AW due to the GH hoopla. As mentioned above, 1982 was a trainwreck for AW.  The introduction of the Shea family, the movie storyline involving Jamie, and Steve Frame favoring Rachel over Alice. The writers went into that direction due to the forgettable performance of Linda Borgeson.

    • Ive seen that theory thrown out but the one thing against it is that Leslie and her family lived in Chicago. She only came back to DC last year after her husband died. Unless they say Alan made a trip to DC and died while away, she wouldnt know about that. However I do think the angle of her finding out that Martin was involved could work as that gives her leverage against Bill too for covering it up. She'd want to get revenge on him by threatening to have him disbarred
