I can't believe Phaedra would be so stupid and endanger her children's wellbeing by engaging in such behavior. Its bad enough if she knew that Apollo was involved in some stupid ish but her to have her own dealings? Absolutely unforgivable.

I feel bad for those poor kids.....with parents such as these I do wonder how they'll perform in school when they grow up....the parents don't seem too bright....

Andy already said her trial will be a major part of her story this year so the guilty plea won't change anything. I see them milking this with a "Teresa Goes to Jail" special and then a followup special "Teresa: 6 Months in Prison" lol

Thank you. Same with that delicious pic you have on yours right now.

Love, love, LOVE Cordy. And totally agree with you about her Season 5 self.

Eve: Oh. You must be Cordelia Chase. I'm-

Cordy (giving fierce bitchface) Didn't ask. (walks off).

I suspect that David Greenwalt was the one who wrote/envisaged Cordelia best, and he was happy to bring her over to the Angel spinoff. When Greenwalt stepped off, Whedon had no clue what to do with Cordelia beyond making her the Big Bad. He also seemed to feel personally slighted that she got pregnant and had to take maternity leave. I loved the episode where she came back but never understood why they didn't bring her back permanently. It was far and away the best episode of that final season.

I don't know if it's true or not but I read somewhere that the only reason they even had her in that one was because they couldn't get SMG so they rewrote it and brought Charisma back instead.

I remember all the raves for Joss Whedon saying he's not a feminist, because oh that word and it's meaning and empowering women and this and that, and I kept thinking, "Well, if you were upset a woman took maternity leave and you fired her, then no, you're not a feminist."

CC/SMG issues and DG's love of Cordy lead to her going to angel. I've heard and believe that JW wasn't happy with Cordy/angel and when he got involved in direction/story of angel more he wanted it to end. Her exit was basically at his hands. And yeah her come back was cuz joss thought Sarah would come back for the episode but she refused as she was beyond Buffy so CC came in and knocked it out of the park, like always.

The difference is, unlike Adrienne, what Lisa is saying is defamatory...actually is. Adrienne threatened lawsuits about Brandi revealing she used a surrogate, which was true and didn't have a snowball's chance in hell of succeeding at trial. Lisa, on the other hand, has been accused of being bankrupt, which, potentially, could damage her reputation. And if she and Ken have not been bankrupt, as Brandi's said they have (then backtracked and dumped on Kyle...) then what she said isn't true and is defamatory. And when Lisa slung mud at Mauricio being friendly with them for the sake of a house sale, she was stating an opinion, her own experience...which isn't defamatory.

    • He definitely got lost in the shuffle last year. First, they were implying that he was Drew’s son, then he was nothing more than just Violet’s bff

And then they changed him to being Dante and Brook Lynn’s son, which was clunky at first but I’m enjoying the storyline now.
    • GM is adorable, charming and fun onscreen despite months of nothing to do until recently, and has a bodacious bod. I'm not cosigning the show or this story - I haven't watched a full episode in over a month - but I think we're all taking the small victories in 2025 at this point. I'm open to testing this theory!
    • I think Jason might've posted some numbers for the syndication a while ago and the numbers for Falcon Crest was horrible. Like 1.5 rating or something, which was terrible.    ETA: it was actually Paul Raven:   New to syndication 60 min Fall Guy 67 markets 3.1/8 Falcon Crest 110 markets 1.1/5 To get into the top 40, you needed a 4.6/9 rating for reference - and Falcon Crest managed to get into a lot of markets to begin with. In the fall of 1985 Dynasty, Dallas and Knots were syndicated (show / rating / share / coverage % / markets): Dallas 3.4 10 51.7 92 Dynasty 3.4 10 48.7 47  Knots Landing 3.3 10 12.5 20  So, Knots as an example trippled Falcon Crest's rating with 20 markets - I'm sure those were major ones but it just goes to show you how much Falcon Crest bombed in syndication.
    • It's not bad but the stories move too slow. It's the same problem when Dan O'Connor was CO-HW with Van Etten, they have a million stories and they all drag on endlessly with no resolution. I'd argue the majority of the stories airing now are good but you get sick of waiting months for something to happen.
    • Thanks. I must have missed that period entirely for Lifetime.
    • Thanks. I know Marland did that type of thing sometimes but it's less likely with these characters. I don't even remember Alex ever mentioning him.
    • French fan summary Rusty took over Simon's job at Lewis Trucking after Simon transferred to Lewis Oil's North Carolina office to live near Jessie and Calla. I doubt they would bother following up a story for offscreen characters eg marriage and a baby.
    • I suspected that the performance with the reveal was the reason why the Ted actor got the axe and it looks like I was right. He wasn't really good at conveying what needed to be conveyed in those scenes. Claybon is at least slowly improving (but I agree that he still needs to work on his line delivery), but I do wonder what will happen when his big reveal is coming up.
    • I've already asked this before, recently, but can anyone who watched those years more closely tell me if anything said about Jessie and Simon at the end of their profiles is accurate (about them marrying, naming a baby after Brandon/Lujack, etc.)?
